Guesthouse Basar is charming and cozy, perfect for exploring Grimsey! The room was tidily nestled under the eaves. Breakfast each morning filled me up for the day, and I really appreciated the ample hot beverage supplies available in the kitchen when I returned from hiking around the island. I was the only guest during my stay, it was a very peaceful trip.

An individual good sized cabin in a quiet setting with beautiful views of the mountains and countryside. There is no kitchen sink but there is a dish-washer. Otherwise well equipped and perfectly clean with a comfortable bed.

It is located in a quiet and peaceful area where you only hear sheep and with nice views of the valley and surrounding slopes. The hottub is shielded by grasses.

A welcoming guest house with a large room and comfortable beds. The soak in the hot tub was wonderful after a long day on the bicycle. Expansive views of the countryside, which was so quiet and peaceful at night. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast, including delicious pancakes and jam which had been home-made by our gentle and gracious hostess. We will be back!
