Offering city views, 照宿 Terasu yado is an accommodation set in Aira, 23 km from Kagoshima Station and 20 km from Senganen Garden. Wonderful spot - the dog-friendly room is a huge plus and our primary reason for staying. The entire house worked perfectly for traveling with the pup. We were worried that it would be too far from Kagoshima, but it's so close to the train that it sort of balances out. Kajiki also has a lot of great things going for it - I'd recommend this place to anybody looking for a nice, quiet retreat.

Minshuku Satomachi er staðsett í Yakushima, 16 km frá Yakusugi Land, 29 km frá Shiratani Unsuikyo og 32 km frá Jomon Sugi. The property was a Japanese style home. We got to experience the Japanese way of living. It was in a great location and a cute neighborhood. The owner is very sweet and she did have information in English. We were lucky to have someone that spoke Japanese with us to make things easier, but we could have gotten through the check in if we didn’t have a Japanese speaker with us.
