Set on 2 acres of lovely gardens, Warkworth Country House features free WiFi and rooms with a patio. We arrived quite late from Auckland airport but Alan welcomed us warmly. The room was comfortable with coffee, tea and homemade cakes. Nice spacious room with a big bathroom, and a pretty balcony and terrace overlooking the pretty garden. The small town is a couple of minutes away with plenty of options to eat. We had a delicious home cooked breakfast with many options all of which were great. Alan gave us some very good tips for travelling and things to visit on our way up North.

There is an outdoor terrace with a dining setting and a BBQ.... The house was unlocked for when we arrived which was amazing! The location, views, entire feel of the property was incredible- felt like we were in a Tuscan Villa!! Breakfast was 👌, we loved Charlie (the dog) come to visit us every day!! We loved it being a bit cold & wet but can imagine even more how beautiful it would be on Summer!! First class!!
