It was so peaceful and quiet. Denise, our host, was a delight! Freshly baked bread, milk and butter in the refrigerator were indicators of the thoughtfulness in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.

The School House, featuring Free WiFi and private parking on-site is situated in a quiet location, 3 km from Te Awamutu. Steve and Sue were great hosts. They gave us advice of interesting places to visit in the area, provided background of the historical property. Steve brought over fresh bread and eggs; Sue gave a guided tour of their chicken yard, and even picked oranges from their tree for our breakfast!The former schoolhouse house was a spacious, comfortable, very well equipped separate lodging!

Offering free WiFi, Continental breakfast, a 24/7 front desk and free parking, Korbaylen Estate is set on 10 acres of peaceful country gardens and native bush. A cozy cottage in a beautiful garden surrounded by pretty countryside. We were warmly welcomed and given good advice for our stay by the friendly host couple. It was nice to have basic breakfast items in the fridge at arrival, hence no need to rush to find a supermarket but instead a nice dinner in a nearby restaurant recommended by our cheerful host. The cottage had everything we needed and we felt immediatelly like at home. The lovely Molly dog, the handsome black cat and the neighbouring cows were all bonuses. Amazing Hamilton Gardens and the pretty Cambridge are both worth a visit.

Set on 2 acres of lovely gardens, Warkworth Country House features free WiFi and rooms with a patio. We arrived quite late from Auckland airport but Alan welcomed us warmly. The room was comfortable with coffee, tea and homemade cakes. Nice spacious room with a big bathroom, and a pretty balcony and terrace overlooking the pretty garden. The small town is a couple of minutes away with plenty of options to eat. We had a delicious home cooked breakfast with many options all of which were great. Alan gave us some very good tips for travelling and things to visit on our way up North.

The property is a complete 1 bedroom and living room suite with a large bathroom which has heated flooring. Newly renovated and the property is better than the images. Lovely hosts and a really comprehensive cottage. Will highly recommend
