It was worth staying here, very nice rooms. If you love classic but still modern, this is the place to be and sleep. Nice shower good beds (mattress was not too hard not to soft just perfect) I did love the classic lounge that was taking care off nice and tidy. You can have a nice walk outside. There are some funny (jersey) cows. Nice host very friendly

Absolutely stunning property and very friendly and accommodating hosts, we felt so welcome! Feeding the deer was a fantastic experience and the breakfast was excellent!!

Freshly baked bread, milk and butter in the refrigerator were indicators of the thoughtfulness in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.

The property was unique, with lovely attention to detail, both replicating an old school house and regarding things the user might enjoy, for example Christmas tree at Christmas time. The property was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was also close to amenities, although the town was quiet at the time we visited.

A cozy cottage in a beautiful garden surrounded by pretty countryside. We were warmly welcomed and given good advice for our stay by the friendly host couple. It was nice to have basic breakfast items in the fridge at arrival, hence no need to rush to find a supermarket but instead a nice dinner in a nearby restaurant recommended by our cheerful host. The cottage had everything we needed and we felt immediatelly like at home. The lovely Molly dog, the handsome black cat and the neighbouring cows were all bonuses. Amazing Hamilton Gardens and the pretty Cambridge are both worth a visit.

We arrived quite late from Auckland airport but Alan welcomed us warmly. The room was comfortable with coffee, tea and homemade cakes. Nice spacious room with a big bathroom, and a pretty balcony and terrace overlooking the pretty garden. The small town is a couple of minutes away with plenty of options to eat. We had a delicious home cooked breakfast with many options all of which were great. Alan gave us some very good tips for travelling and things to visit on our way up North.

The property is a complete 1 bedroom and living room suite with a large bathroom which has heated flooring. Newly renovated and the property is better than the images. Lovely hosts and a really comprehensive cottage. Will highly recommend
