The rooms with the view directly on the lake are exceptional, so is the host family. We had such a great time. Manuel and his girlfriend helped us to get to the island and I never met a more friendly family. They helped us with the altitude sickness by providing coca tea at our arrival and showed us the neighbor islands on a personal boat trip. The breakfast was amazing and prepared with a lot of heart. At night it can get pretty cold, but the shower is hot. Would totally recommend for people who want to experience the life of the Uros.

Casa de Valentin í Llachon býður upp á gistirými, einkastrandsvæði, garð og garðútsýni. Beds were really comfortable, loved it :) ... Food was tasty and Jesus is very kind!

Taquile Sumaq Wasi - Casa de Felipe e Ines er staðsett í Huillanopampa á Taquile-eyju og býður upp á garð. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir vatnið. I'm genuinely happy to have spent some time at Ines and Felipe's. Everyone is super kind and we had the luck of being there while the family cooked for other community members and hosted a session of Easter chants, to which we have been allowed to take part. On one of the Uros islands it was a very different experience, learning their customs is very interesting, our host Ronal and Roci were very kind to us and their rooms are basic and beautiful, we recommend bringing an extra jacket for the night because it is cold and They have enough blankets to keep you warm throughout the night 100% recommended

CHUYPAS DEL TICA er staðsett í Puno, 4,6 km frá Estadio Enrique Torres Belon, 4,7 km frá Puno-höfninni og 4,7 km frá Bahia de los Incas-göngusvæðinu. Ronald was great, he picked me up from the port in his boat (for a fee I was happy to pay) and took me to his island, he and his wife had everything I needed for an island experience, they made me dinner, let me take the kayak out and event watched while I went for a quick dip in the chilly lake. It is a very comfortable place to stay but don't expect five star accommodations it is more like a really nice glamping setup which is what you should be looking for on a floating island!

This hotel is authentic, our triple room had flair and was overlooking the yard. The couple taking care of us was very warm and accommodating, especially with the meals, as it was one vegetarian person in the family. We stood 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The food was every day different and plenty. The price for the meals is different, it depends if it is vegetarian, it contains cheese, or fish or meat. Lake Titicaca is a flight of stairs away an there is a nice beach and clear water to take a dip (water temperature 10-12 degree). There are nice walks on the hills nearby to viewpoints and small ruins.

Hospedaje y Restaurante Saywa er staðsett í Llachon á Puno-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að almenningsbaði. Teodora was really lovely and made sure that we felt at home, she is also an excellent cook! The place itself is clean, has a stunning view and is located in a really quiet area.

Located right in front of Titicaca Lake, Titilaka boasts chic decor, an on-site restaurant with regional and international cuisine and rooms with free Wi-Fi. This is probably one of my favorite hotels I have ever been to. The staff is always here to help and are very professional and well trained. The hotel and amenities are really beautiful and the location could not be better as the hotel is right on lake titicaca facing isla taquile. The food was good and all the little additional attentions were appreciated (5pm service with delicious cocktails or wines to be enjoyed near a brasero outside or inside, after dinner tea service, welcome drinks…they were too many to list !)
