This accomodation is a great place to experience and get to know better the local culture. We were immersed into it and we felt very well. We felt the accomodation was well priced. The breakfast was amazing, above expectations for Peruvian standards. We served as well the dinner for a fair price. Manuel, member of the family, drove us by his boat for a fair price to the local port and explained us a few things about the local culture, the work they do to maintain the islands and the main activities.

The country house features some units that have city views, and every unit is equipped with a private bathroom with a shower.

Guests at the country house will be able to enjoy activities in and around Llachon, like hiking and walking tours. Beds were really comfortable, loved it :) ... Food was tasty and Jesus is very kind!

Situated in Huillanopampa in the Taquile Island region, Taquile Sumaq Wasi - Casa de Felipe e Ines features a garden. The property has lake views. I'm genuinely happy to have spent some time at Ines and Felipe's. Everyone is super kind and we had the luck of being there while the family cooked for other community members and hosted a session of Easter chants, to which we have been allowed to take part. Worth staying here even if you just have a short time passing!

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. This hotel is authentic, our triple room had flair and was overlooking the yard. The couple taking care of us was very warm and accommodating, especially with the meals, as it was one vegetarian person in the family. We stood 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The food was every day different and plenty. The price for the meals is different, it depends if it is vegetarian, it contains cheese, or fish or meat. Lake Titicaca is a flight of stairs away an there is a nice beach and clear water to take a dip (water temperature 10-12 degree). There are nice walks on the hills nearby to viewpoints and small ruins.

There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Quiet, quaint, and beautiful. The host family were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and the views were spectacular. We were also very impressed by Llachon, a peaceful change of pace compared to Juliaca and Puno.

All rates include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as happy hour drinks and snacks from 11.00 to 12.00 h and from 18.00 to 19.00 h. This is probably one of my favorite hotels I have ever been to. The staff is always here to help and are very professional and well trained. The hotel and amenities are really beautiful and the location could not be better as the hotel is right on lake titicaca facing isla taquile. The food was good and all the little additional attentions were appreciated (5pm service with delicious cocktails or wines to be enjoyed near a brasero outside or inside, after dinner tea service, welcome drinks…they were too many to list !)

Ruben and victoria are very.hospitaple and Ruben spoke English, which was a bonus for me
