We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

The apartment was as advertised and exceeded our expectations! The staff are exceptional. Super friendly, helpful, and attentive. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally decorated. Every unit has their own seating area to relax outside. Plus there are trails around the property to other seating areas. Kitchen had everything to make a variety of meals using either the cook top or oven. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Quiet at night! Pellet stove in unit to enjoy a fire. Breakfast baskets delivered every morning! And the Views of the surrounding mountains and Douro River were amazing! We wanted a relaxing and romantic stay and Quinta de São Pedro delivered! We highly recommend a car to get to the Quinta.

The Vine House has a lovely location on the southerne strip of Douro between Regua & Pinhao. The facilities with terrasses & bar and the rooms a great. Having the vineyard Sao Luiz of Sogevinus & winery next door is spectacular.

ALDEIA DA MARGARIDA er staðsett í Tarouquela á Norte-svæðinu og er með svalir. Þessi sveitagisting er með þaksundlaug, garð og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Great spot to come down. We truly felt welcome and the host & especially the lady who took care of us the whole stay where great. Awesome self cooked dinner and fresh chestnuts which where picked up in their own gardens as an add on tasted delicious. A place to be not only sleep! Thank you and we will recommend you for sure.

Quinta do Valdalágea er staðsett í Peso da Régua, 4,2 km frá Douro-safninu og 10 km frá Our Lady of Remedies-helgistaðnum. The property was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were awesome. We had a private wine tasting accompanied by good conversation. Breakfast was outstanding.

Breathless view on the valley from the pool, marvellous restaurant with quality dishes, clean and warm room and stunning Porto experience with the excellent Carlos.

We were very well welcomed to the property by the owner and had some homemade products waiting for us. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Totally recommend this place to stay.

Area is very quiet.
