The communal kitchenette was very useful and we loved the ducks and chickens in the back yard. Communication with the host was very easy.

We had room nr. 3. It was ample, nicely appointed. The staff was extremely helpful and generous with their time. Everything worked well. The room was soundproof. The bed was comfortable, the shower strong. The view was beautiful overlooking a large garden. The buffet breakfast was good and tasty. Location was ideal. We highly recommend this place.

Country houses Lomba D'Água, is located in the parish of Candelária, south coast of the island of S. Miguel, 14 km from the city of Ponta Delgada. Extremely high standard with great hosts. Fresh bread every day. Cleaner came each day and provided coffee and milk. Views from the huge terrace balcony onto the sea were amazing. The surroundings were beautiful too.

The house was exceptionally beautiful, cozy and welcoming with a beautiful garden. The host was outstanding - welcoming, available and helpful throughout our stay. The house had all of the little extras we could have wanted and the fantastic attention to detail made our stay perfect. One of the most beautiful viewpoints on the island is a few minutes walk from the house. We dream of coming back

We loved everything about our stay! We were staying in the appartement up the hill a little further from the pool but oh so quiet at night! The property is situated in the middle of San Antonio with amazing, stunning views on the coast and the ocean. The location is just perfect for trekkings around the most beautiful sceneries of the islands and also reaching Ponta delgada. We stayed with our family and we had a wonderful 3-night stay, with Ms Marilia helping with everything and Mr. Nelson guiding us towards the most amazing culinary experiences. We love the story of the property where the family of 12 lived doing farming and is now a really beautiful get-away property, offering the best of the island. There are 4 separate units, infinity pool, kitchenette for amazing breakfast and parking for the guests that is a must at the island. I personally loved the coffee available since I have coffee all the time and Ms. Marilia making home made eggs & fresh bread. There was also local wine available at the house but we did not try it for my husband bought so many (he is a somelie) - but definetely a really nice gesture. Our kids enjoyed the pool even if it was a bit cold outsid3, but the had much fun. We also enjoyed the views and tranquility at the pool every evening, along with local wine 😊 Super friendly hosts, we highly recommend - we will definetely return 😊
