We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The design is beautiful, and it's incredibly quiet. The food is excellent for both vegans and non-vegans. The massage was fantastic. Despite its small size, I loved that it felt peaceful and not crowded. Highly recommend!

The Englhof Hotel is a beautiful family-run establishment with a long-standing history. The building itself is stunning, centrally located in Zell am Ziller, yet slightly off the main drag which ensures a peaceful ambiance. The staff is incredibly friendly and truly understands what it means to be a gracious host. They cater to guests on an individual basis, offering suggestions on places to visit and where to dine. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The hotel is immaculate and well-cared for. Within the hotel is a spa featuring four saunas and a relaxation room with mountain views.
A special mention must be made for the bar, which offers exquisite cocktails. It stands as the best of its kind in Austria, a claim backed by numerous awards. The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel's restaurant is outstanding, showcasing excellent Austrian cuisine. They had no issues accommodating a vegetarian option.
I highly recommend this hotel and eagerly anticipate my return.

Beautiful hotel grounds containing large sized rooms/suites with mesmerizing mountain views. A very good breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, pastries and a cappuccino machine. The hotel also has a small wellness area with infra red chairs, a single hydro massage table, and several lounge chairs. There is a small indoor pool at the front entrance. Covered parking spots are available with convenient elevator access to the rooms. The owner Andrea is very friendly and guests can enjoy her adorable puppy (Ruffy). The hotel is conveniently located close to all the hikes in the region.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, everything is immaculately clean and the spa/pool area is great. The weather was bad when I was there but there are also lots of hiking trails in the area. I can absolutely recommend this place for a few days of R&R. I got an upgrade to my room upon arrival without asking, and was just generally treated very very well. The breakfast is also very good!

Beautiful place - very cozy and quiet … a bit more lively atmosphere in the center will help to add more tourists, but apres ski bars at the lift are very nice and loud though 😊 few good restaurants but mostly in the hotels, picturesque promenade along the river

Excellent place for a short vacation.
Excellent place for a short vacation. Nice little town in the valley surrounded by high mountains. Very close to the ski lifts Rosenalm-Bahn and Karspitzbahn - practically 20 minutes form the town center. However, there are lots of parking spaces available next to the ski-lifts.

There was really good hiking and a cable car accessible that we didn’t have time for.
The Bob run was a LOT of fun.
We went to a very lovely (pricey but very very lovely day spa) Malis Garten. They also do lovely cakes.
We went to an absolutely horrible Italian which I really would avoid if you can - pizzeria Quattro (I think). The food wasn’t fresh (pizza sauce was out of a bottle and my pasta sauce was too - along with the salad dressing. V disappointing.

Overall for a ski resort, this was an excellent area for family skiing, runs were varied and it covered a wide area. We found the ski lechner ski school efficient, friendly and well located on the slopes. We found that most of the restaurants on and of the slopes dealt in cash rather than card so bear that in mind when buying your meals.
There are 4 main areas of skiing in the valley which we managed 3 of them due to having our son in ski school. for a ski resort ques were not long and on one of the smaller ones there was hardly anybody on the slopes to the point that we had the piste all to ourselves which was great for skiers that are not so confident.
Beautiful house, Danielle has a keen eye for interior design. The place is spotless. Loved the gorgeous pool, steam room and sauna. Room was lovely and bed comfortable. The tranquility. 10/15 minutes walk into zell centre, lovely restaurants, our fav being the cocktail bar and restaurant at the Englehof hotel. The Rosegarten near the property if also very good if you dont want to talk into town. Well placed for the train/bus to other resorts. Lots of snow in Gerlosh.
Danielle is definitely a character!!
We stayed at Pension Ferdinand for 5 nights in the three bedroom apartment. Everything was great: clean and warm rooms with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Close proximity to the train station (from where you can get the ski bus), reasonable walking distance to the supermarket and a nice view to the mountains. Sauna was also good and the ski room was equipped with multiple heaters for boots. We really enjoyed our stay and we will stay again here next time. ☺️
Rang the bell, was answered right away to be shown into ap[apartment and around. Communicated within app to narrow down arrival times. Apartment was nice and clean. Well appointed. One slept in the sofa daybed and the other slept in bedroom. Not a lot of space for 2 people, but just enough. We cooked lunches and breakfast in apartment with ease. Convenient to grocery, trains, ski bus. Scenic. The ski room with heated boot rack was a convenience for sure.
We were very satisfied and pleasantly surprised by welcomeness and willingness by hotel owner and also spaciousness and absolute (!) quietness of the hotel room (despite the hotel is situated close to the main road). Also very roomy and comfy beds appreciated. Cute and tasty breakfasts with wide spread of different kind of pastry. Great location - 4 mins by walk to cable car station. Great overall.
It was a wonderful stay in Zillertal! 5min drive to the Arena, but Skibus is just 100 meters away - you can't beat the location. It's so quiet at night and the bed is super comfy so you are guaranteed to have a good rest before another day of skiing. Heidi and her family made us feel at home; we are super grateful for the hospitality and will for sure come back for more winter and summer holidays!
The apartment was very spacious for my family. Very nice balcony landscape. It's quiet, the catwalks are singing. If you go to the booth, you can go by car and leave it in the free parking lots at the train station, the beach. I recommend for those who arrive in Zell am Ziller to use the Activ Card from the information point in the center.
Nice hotel on the inside and out. The location is central in town, close to shuttle to the ski slopes and to the train station. I liked the breakfast a lot and breakfast servers were nice. Liked my view of the mountains and the balcony was nice but a bit cold to stay out very long on in Winter.
Spacious appartement centrally located in the village, walking distance everywhere, also to the ski lifts. The Romantic penthouse with artistic features, yet comfortable and functional. A practical ski room to dry your boots and skis in the downstairs.
Very clean and cozy apartment.Goid space for skies and possibility to dry ski boots. Also the ski bus stop is pretty close. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a nice stove located in the room which is good to dry your things.
Friendly and flexible service, excellent location right next to the Zillertalbahn station. Room was tidy and breakfast delicious. There's also a small sauna available which was a nice surprise after a long skiing day.
The owner was quite hospitable. She gave me a free upgrade to comfortable double room with huge balcony which had amazing view.
All typical hotel like facilities. Was extremely clean.
Breakfast was great as well.
Perfect! There's nothing more to say. Apartament is in the center of Zell am Ziller with two minutes walk to skibus stop and train station. No problem with parking a car. Warm welcome to Hannes and his family.
