The room was very pleasant, clean, comfortable and had all the necessary facilities including its own bathroom with shower.
The location of the Hotel Dufour was very good, in the town centre and near the old town. It was a pleasant 15 minute walk to Biel/Bienne railway station and there was a frequent trolleybus service to and from the station.
The breakfast was excellent and very tasty with a good variety of drinks and food which were plentiful.
The hotel also had its own excellent Indian restaurant with an impressive variety of food which was very reasonably priced.

The room or mini apartment was spacious, around 30-35 sqm, the staff was super friendly and helpful. I really liked the interior design as well. It was beyond expectations, it is about 15 minutes walk from the central station. Wifi worked well. I highly recommend even for couples. I will definitely return.

This was my 3rd trip to Biel and one thing I really love...
This was my 3rd trip to Biel and one thing I really love about it is how easy it is to get around. We loved being able to walk to the train station. We took a day trip to Geneva to visit the United Nations and the train schedule was very convenient! For part of our stay we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in city center and we ate dinner at Bluma. Bluma has an interesting concept which is Tapas from around the world, I highly recommend it if you aren't looking for large quantities but you want to have lots of different tastes. They also served a local beer which we really appreciated.
This is a no frills hotel. It’s old, but clean, within a five minute walk from the train station, has an excellent breakfast with hot and cold choices, and friendly staff. As a bonus if you like Japanese cuisine there is a fantastic Japanese restaurant right next door. The rooms are huge with even a little sitting area included. Comfy beds and while the bathrooms are as dated as the rest of the hotel the water pressure is great and water is nice and hot. If you are staying overnight in Biel you can’t go wrong with picking the City Hotel.
Such a hidden gem in Biel... big, lovely old house, charming but also comfy, and for a great deal. I had a good size room and doors opening onto a garden. The lady who welcomed me was so nice and helpful. I had to leave quite early the next day but she had everything ready for me in the kitchen to help myself to breakfast. If I had to stay in Biel again I'd absolutely look here first. A short work through the old town and you are there.
The property is ideally located. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the many shops and stores in the old town. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I stayed 3 times within a 3 week span of time and was able to check in early on all occasions. The rooms are clean, a good size, and well appointed. I would definitely stay here again.
Very central hotel in a building close to the old city as well as the commercial streets. Close by you can find several restaurants and main sights and funicular are available. It is around 10 minutes walk to the train station and 15 minutes to the lake shore. The room was good in a higher floor with many windows but it was quiet at night. Nice staff. Good wifi. Breakfast correct.
Parking was available, very friendly staff, easy to reach (well Biel / Bienne isn't a that huge city), easy to get to city center, at least at the backside the room was silent to the outside, breakfest was ok, good WiFi, rooms accessible for disabled people (thanks to elevator)
The location was good and easy to find. There is a bycicle stand over the street, however the hotel itself does not have a way to store the bikes (other than paying for a space in the parking garage).
Breakfast was ok, nothing special but good enough.
The rooms were clean.
Very clean and newly arranged.
The hotel is very close to premium restaurants, most interesting places (including OMEGA museum) are in walking distance.
Very friendly staff, very nice breakfast.
Location very convenient to Lake Bienne as well as train station and mall within station for shopping. Excellent staff. Very helpful. Parking area made it easy to have someone pick you up.
The B&B is in the center of Biel and the location is rather interesting: the two rooms are part of a 16 people shared flat in an old hospital. The rooms are large and the apartment quiet.
Very clean and luxury apartment with great location. Perfect for a big family stay. Surounded by an Beautiful old city. There's so much look around. Just loved everything ❤ 5 ☆
I loved the location, being near enough to the centre but quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a dedicated bicycle room with tools for repairing anything.
Everything, it’s a such a nice modern apartment, the host Ivan is very nice and helpful, really like our stay there. Next time back in biel, will definitely come back!!!
