Amazing location with spectacular views from the rooms. Love the activities provided by the resort and the dual use of the Sanctuary and the Rarotongan. Food and drinks were great. Amazing range of fruits for breakfast. Swim up bar and pool were great places to either relax or socialize.
Although service at times may be seen to be slow (other reviews), it's Raro time!!!! Relax, sit back and enjoy! Keep an eye out for Ringi and Aisake, they are the personalities of the place and couldn't ask for better service!

The property is incredible! So beautiful with all the colourful trees and plants, and the bungalows are immaculate! The large ceiling fan keeps the room cool and comfortable, better than aircon! Jason and Jaime are amazing hosts, and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! Thank you again for everything!

Our trip was amazing, however there was one theme that was a huge put off. Some of the places we went had absolutely horrible attitudes towards us. Rude with no greetings and sour faces, it is not nice to be treated like that. This was NOT at every place we went but it was enough times to stand out. Apart from that....it was a fun filled trip

Rarotonga is a great place to visit.
Rarotonga is a great place to visit. Its layed back and the weather is very nice. The beaches are great. We ate at Supper Browne in Tupapa at their cafe which was reasonably cheap steak meal. The local food on the early morning on Sunday was fantastic. Going to the movies could be good for young couples to spend some quality time without being too occupied with big expensive activities.

Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga.
Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga. Also did a day trip to Aitutaki. Both places were great for snorkelling, need water shoes to protect your feet from the coral. Night markets offered delicious food. We used the local bus to get around the island.JoanCanada - 10Scored 10
There is something special about this place.
There is something special about this place. From the moment we stepped off the plane, we felt so relaxed and welcomed. We stayed at Club Raro Resort (Adults Only) and I can only speak highly about this accommodation. They have amazing staff and the restaurant offers the BEST ribs on the island! Rarotonga is so relaxed and peaceful, all the locals and business's are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. You can use your New Zealand dollars, so no need for exchanging money before your trip. Easy to get around the island via rental car, scooter, bike or bus. Koka Lagoon Cruises were excellent! Four hours of fun, beautiful fish to see, snorkeling, yummy lunch and an entertaining show on an island. Happy Hour at The Edgewater Resort were a great price and so good. I've been here twice now and Raro will continue to be my annual holiday from now on.

There was also a pool if you preferred to swim somewhere away from the sea. The resort is only a short walk from lots of amenities such as restaurants, supermarkets, car hire and the museum. Also we were able to attend the Muri night markets a few times which was a fun alternative to restaurant food. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and obliging at short notice. This is a must-stay if you're looking for something more than just a hotel room. The pool is fantastic on those super hot afternoons too! Hosts are so wonderful, kind and helpful. You may want to get a car or scooter to get around quicker but the bikes are great to cruise around on and you can flag down the bus at the end of the road Thanks Jaime and Jason again for everything!
