It is an active city with many places to explore. There is a lot of traffic, but the taxis and others motorist have a system that keeps things moving. The people are very friendly and helpful. Great city, with great food and a lot of tourist spots like the Carnival Museum, Restaurant la Cueva, the Zoo, the food court at the river Malecón. And close to Puerto Colombia which is a very nice beach with beautiful statues of the inmigrants that came to the once important harbor, and a Lighthouse that turns on at night.

This is a modern, well-appointed townhouse in a gated community of 8. Located in the nice part of town on a quiet side street within walking distance of a mall/Exito. Gated with 24 hour security. Room for 6 adults (3 bedrooms). If I were ever to live in Barranquilla, I would consider buying a place like this. The rental price was a great deal, too.

Barranquilla is a lovely city close to the coast with a warm climate. There are plenty of places to shop and a lot of delicious restaurants to try. If you enjoy relaxing, eating, and shopping, then this is the place for you. Catching a taxi is easy or you can use uber.

The hotel and rooms are spotless, the neighborhood is quiet, safe and beautiful for walking. Breakfast was different every morning and always a big variety. Don’t miss trying their restaurant, also out of this world.
