Excellent place!
Everything was perfect- new, clean, organized, and the staff was very helpful and responsive.
Very easy to find and close to the beach, just what you want in Larnaca.
Highly recommended :)
Located in Voroklini Village of Larnaca, overlooking Larnaca Bay and the Mediterranean Sea, this family-run hotel offers self-catered rooms and a restaurant.

Absolutely loved the picturesque scenes surrounded by the property, along with the traditional features in the village where the property is located. The room was well-maintained and fairly clean, overlooking the pool and with a sea view. The property was generally tranquil with barely any movement or sounds, making it a wonderful location for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely come again.
Located in Cyprus, the San Remo Hotel is less than 1640 feet from Larnaca Bay. It has an outdoor pool with sun-lounger terrace, and offers air-conditioned guestrooms with furnished balconies.

My expectations for this hotel where not high when I noticed a letter falling from the San Remo sign and the front desk staff was initially less than friendly. Fortunately, my view improved during my 5-night stay. The AC was cold, the WiFi strong, the room had a balcony and mini fridge, the pool was open, there was cable TV with 3-4 channels in English, the free breakfast was generous and the staff warmed up to me the more I interacted with them. The 4-floor structure was built in 1995 and it could be maintained better overall but it is average for a 3-star hotel. The room has interesting plastic molded furniture and it made me feel like i took a time machine to 1975 but this also grew on me. Take bus 425 from the upper departure level of the airport (do not follow signs for busses in the arrival area to the left as those are long-distance trips). Bus 425 does not stop if no one requests and there is no announcement of each stop so you have to look for your destination. My bus only took 6 mins from the airport to my stop. Sit on the right side and look for Danny's Mini-Mart. Walk from the mart to Shakespeare St. and turn right. The hotel is just another couple mins on the left. Pay 2.40 euro on the bus. From the hotel back to the airport it took me less than an hour to get to my gate including waiting on the bus and clearing security.
Set in a charming 19th-century building, just 328 feet from the center of Larnaca, the Alkisti features an intimate walled-in garden.

Property in the middle of old Larnaca, really well situated. Lovely old building. Room was simple but clean. Shared balcony. Bed was comfy. Good value.

Oroklini as a location is not really fair - Oroklini is many things. This one apartment near the main road was without any view, but it does offer parking at least out of season. There are plenty of eateries, but not exactly a noisy and bustling night scene. Generally very reasonably priced - if sometimes rather tourist oriented. Bars and cafes and several great Indian restaurants andfresh seafood, but no loud night spots.
Like that or seek elsewhere! The beach is an easy walk away - and it's a nice beach - season from April till November.
However Oroklini is also all the way up past the highway - and up the hills - up there you can get a brilliant view in some of the highest locations.
Dont miss the Oroklini Lake/Marsh, if you are at all interested in birds - Cyprus is a very nice spot to watch the migrating birds especially in spring and autumn. Help also by protesting against the rampant netting and gluesticking of the birds, that is illegal but widely practiced anyway. Certain restaurants with local fare will even offer cooked tiny songbirds - leave those immediately of course!
I find a car useful everywhere, but there is a certain service with busses to town and also further on towards Agia Napa etc. Not very fast or frequent, but its cheap and it does work.

Voroklini is a lovely village and has everything you need for your stay, this ranges from the local supermarket, hairdressers, tapa’s bars, restaurants, 24 hour bakery and other local business. One of our fallacies to visit and eat was a lovely little cafe called Butterflies, the food was outstanding along with the service, both ladies who work at this establishment were lovely and nothing was to much for them, I would say the food was the best in the village

A nice traditional village, good food lots of places to eat and be entertained, you need a car to go to the many beaches and visit the more vibrant nightlife.
Vorokline is more suited to the family with young children and adults but not too far from Larnaka where the teenagers can find plenty to do

I don't want to say too much in case other people discover it! It is a lovely traditional village but so close to the sea and Larnaca. It has several bars and restaurants, 3 supermarkets as well as 24 hr kiosk and a Zorba's 24 hr bakery. Voreas is a proper taverna with great meze where locals go at the weekend. The corner pub is a tiny bar but the best one in the village - you could not get a better host than Luga. Further down the road is Grada taverna that also does fab food, and if you like enormous portions of traditional grills - the Alki bar is great too.
Behind the village is the hill that has a picnic area/toilets at the top and lots of walking/cycling trails

Voroklini is a small village about 3 km from the sea, and 10 km from Larnaka beachfront. Its very peaceful. We visit because our son lives nearby. There are a number of small bars and restaurants nearby. An hourly bus service operates from the apartment to Larnaka centre.
Oroklini village is away from busy modern city and this comfort I needed most during my stay. The room was very clean, with small kitchenette and AC, fast internet and access to pool. Few meters away there is Lithos bar and grill with nice traditional food and drinks, during weekends normally they run entertainment program, music is amazing. also close by there are village tavernas to try. 419 city bus stop is near but if you prefer to see Cyprus around best is to rent a car. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.
This is a place with character. Pleasant courtyard. Great antiques in my room. Clean, very comfortable bed. Location is close to the old town and away from the more 'suburban' areas of Oroklini, but you're close to some great restaurants and pubs. You can even go to Bingo night nearby. Great Saturday night for dinner at Voreas followed by drinks and live music at Verochino (may need reservations for both). Casavero is a very relaxing getaway. Easy to understand directions on getting in.
Absolutely stunning place! Really surprised us when we got there.
Very clean, modern, new.
Staff was really sweet and amazing even from before the trip , they were so accommodating for us and our baby.
Was so sad to leave !
The pool was beautiful too!
We were able to catch a bus to larnaca town, we even took a coach from main road for €4 each all the way to ayia Napa! And then took the bus to the airport when we left which was only 23 minutes away!
Excellent location in a quiet up-scale residential area outside Larnaca. Perfectly situated to explore local beach clubs, beaches and restaurants. A short drive into central Larnaca, should you wish to join the masses. Modern and clean rooms, nice sized bathrooms and a great outdoor area with pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Several local restaurants in the neighbourhood should you want to stay put and eat within walking-distance.
Loved it! Lovely hotel in a very beautiful village - Oroklini. Staff was helpful and we could even check in one hour earlier than normally. Rooms were cozy and clean. Bar was downstairs so definitely big plus for us. Highly recommend! We will come back in the near future for sure :)
Overall it was a nice apartment, parking available at location, and easy access. Dishwasher and washing machine available. Close to both Larnaca and Ayia Napa (by car, very easy access).
