The hotel owner was exceptionally helpful to me after injuring myself during my pilgrims' walk.
Kindness and care for guests is the hallmark of an excellent establishment.
The rooms and facilities were clean and the breakfast was sufficient.

Very disappointing to visit at Easter - most of the champagne houses were closed and the good restaurants were all full. I have been before in the summer when its much better. I must recommend Kitsch Cafe - literally the best coffee I have tasted in France.

A lovely city with plenty to see and visit, lovely bars, restaurants and cafes. Of course the champagne tasting is a must and we found a town called Monthelon with wonderful tasting at a small champagne house called Denis Frezier. A must if you visit this area.

Epernay is an easy drive from Paris or take a train.
Epernay is an easy drive from Paris or take a train. There is a lot to see and do and beautiful countryside and small villages to explore if you are into food and wine it is a paradise but remember bookings are often required moths in advance for some tours. Be aware it does not target the budget traveller so be prepared. there are cheaper meal options and great shops with ready prepared french classics to re heat.
Overall a great place to Base yourself. We try and Stay at La Mignonette it is well located with parking and your own kitchen and laundry. it helped stretch the budget.

Amazing place if you love Champagne but also if you want to learn more. The newly opened museum is very useful to understand how nature and human genius created the Champagne success. People are generally very kind and smiling.
We had the pleasure to have a tasting in Champagne Michel Gonet which we suggest.
The only bad experience has been with the lousy service of the "Brasserie de la Banque". We booked a table 3 days before going there because of a special occasion and received the confirmation. We entered on the booked evening at 19.50 and at 20.28 no one came even to ask us if we wanted to drink something. We simply left and the old person at the entrance (who showed us the table 30 minutes before) even did not notice it . Fortunately there is the place "Brasserie Le Progres" in face of it. We have been happily there three times in three days

Our friends recommended we stay in Epernay rather than Reims and I am glad we did. Epernay and the main street which is world heritage listed is lovely to stroll up and down, and it's easy to pop into a champagne house for a quick drink. Make sure you book your Champagne House Tours months in advance as we left it late and missed a few of our favourites. We drove to Reims for Veuve, Pommery and Mumm and Moet and many others are in Epernay. Reims was about 30min drive and the champagne houses provide parking.

Compact town with excellent restaurants and everything you would want if you are an Oenophile with the emphasis on the Fizz!
If you are self catering they have a big SuperMarche on the outskirts and 2 Mini shops in the town.
Chez Max Restaurant is a must eat if you are in town
Also good Bus service if you do not have a car.. Easy to use and cheap
Small, family run hotel, felt like being in their home. Warm friendly reception & useful visit/tasting recommendations, spotlessly clean, lovely big room and bed, wonderful bathroom/wet room tea & coffee making facilities with fresh water & milk in mini fridge, delicious freshly baked bread & croissants, homemade conserves, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, ham & cheeses for breakfast. Quiet location in Aŷ, easy walking distance of shops, museum etc but taxi-able to Epernay. Secure gated parking (quite tight!)on site.
Laure is an excellent, friendly and very helpful host. I had an issue with my travel arrangements on arrival in France (even though I was staying elsewhere the first night!) and Laure helped me in so many ways to find trains and other arrangements. She was amazing.
When we arrived at her hotel, we found the room lovely and very spacious with the bonus of a sitting room to enjoy a welcome drink.
Both of us are gluten free and Laure met those needs perfectly with a delicious homemade breakfast each morning!
My boyfriend and I stayed for a longweekend in the Champagne district. We loved our room and the amenities, location was amazing, quiet but within walking distance to everything and with parking right outside the door. Pascale also went above and beyond to help us even after our visit as I forgot my passport and headphones in the room 😬 she posted them to our hotel in Paris the following day and we were able to get home from our lovely trip. 10/10 experience!
Very good location. Nice appartement, very tidy and spacious. We had a lovely time in Epernay tasting champagne. Hostess Patricia was very nice and helpful. The appartment wasn't too hot even though it didn't had any AC. Two showers. Easy access to this appartment. It was also very handy to park our rental car to the nearby parking hall. The street was quiet. Everything was very satisfactory. I think it was money well spent.
Excellent for a transit stop and to explore epernay . Rooms are basic and comfortable and clean. breakfast is good, self service with range of fresh breads and bakery, yoghurts etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of free car parking.
It’s basic no frills which is reflected in the price, so don’t don’t expect more. I’ve classed it as 8 as it’s a budget hotel, in its category probably higher.
Close to the heart of major Champagne Houses: Moët Chadon, Mercier, and so many more! This clean, well-equipped two bedroom apartment with very comfortable Queen beds was just right for three adult travelers for our 3-day visit to Epernay! Wonderful, considerate host who proactively communicated, and was interested in our well-being. Responsive to requests for assistance in an expedient fashion.
The loft is really spacious. We were 3 friends and able to choose a double bedroom each. The lounge area is as lovely as it looks in the photos and the kitchen had everything we needed.
The location is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Epernay and there are shops nearby for supplies, including champagne of course!! We had a lovely stay here.
Our hosts responded quickly to any queries.
We really enjoyed the apartment and the views that came with it.
The apartment was newly renovated with a thoughtful design. it was warm, inviting and comfortable.
The view from the patio was amazing as we enjoyed the sunsetting over the hills of Epernay. So easy to relax and enjoy a bottle of Champagne.
The hotel is in a quiet location at the end of Avenue d' Champagne. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the centre of Epernay, past some of the big champagne houses.
The staff were friendly & helpful.
Comfortable rooms, with clean bathroom .
The car park was handy for reception.
Wonderful apartment, in the centre of Epernay. Avenue de Champagne is only 2 minutes walk away. Very friendly host, very easy communication. 3 double bedrooms, lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen. You could easily stay here with 6 people. I would definitely go here again.
Hotel is very well located on the main avenue in Epernay. Made to feel very welcome and it is generally a very relaxing place to be and stay. Have used this hotel before and would have no hesitation in doing so again.
It's THE perfect apartment for stay in Epernay. A bakery and a nice breakfast/brunch opportunity located just next door. All sights incl. the Avenue de Champagne in walking distance.
The price and location with parking and next to a lidl were a plus. Even though the facility was shabby at best, it was clean (sheets, towels, floors, surfaces)
this is an excellent stopping off hotel en route from further south in France to the Chunnel. it is clean friendly and very good value. we will return.
