Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and had a good shower, a safe and a small fridge. Location was ideal, 5 minutes walk from the beach, with a couple of bars/bistros within a few metres. Parking was available close by and there are also bus services.

Easy to walk to nearby restaurants. Lovely walk down breakwater. Not brilliant for dog walking but I suppose most town centre hotels have similar problems.

The main selling point is the fantastic atrium which was just magnificent to sit in, both in the evening and at breakfast. Rooms were more functional but large and comfortable and ours though on a side street did have a canal view.

Sete is a bit Venice but without the tourists.
Sete is a bit Venice but without the tourists. It is full of locals and local life, with fishing boats, some tour boats, yachts and even car ferries. The fantastic indoor market and restaurants specialise in seafood, particularly oysters - very reasonably priced.
There are lovely walks up to Mont St-Clair, with its amazing views, or out to the lagoon or west along the miles of wide sandy beaches.
There is a lot of handsome architecture in Sete and a lovely park.

The town is so walkable, yet there is still so much to see.
The town is so walkable, yet there is still so much to see. So many different little areas and so charming. I never stopped eating as there is so much food to try. The Halles market is amazing! It has a very authentic feel, laid back...you feel like a local!

We ate in Sete twice, but were twice disappointed.
The town of Sete was dirty and crowded.
It was difficult to park in Sete, and difficult to drive around at the time we went (July) as it was very busy on the roads.
I would not visit Sete again.

I liked Sete.
I liked Sete. It was a good place to finish my bike ride from St Malo. However, it was also a bit too big and busy so a day less would have been good. Lots of restaurants, bars and places to just hang out and watch the world go by. A good train service to Montpellier.

Day trip into Montpellier on train
The Port Marine a new hotel situated just 5 minutes from the centre in the port. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are fresh and comfortable. There is a bus stop just by the hotel to catch the train to the TGV station. With very regular schedules. Also to walk to the beaches it is around 25 minutes. We found that Sete was a beautiful spot with the eccentric jousting contest. Many restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel by the port.
Great atmosphere with really good facilities. Super friendly staff, very comfortable double room. Also a place where you can actually get some work done which is important for me. Right in the city center, and Sete is actually super fun. It may not be the prettiest town in Southern France but it is lively and less touristic than most places. I could easily have stayed much longer.
We had a great stay. The hotel‘s location is perfect - close to a beautiful beach, there are some popular restaurants right outside and the town center is within walking distance. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast is great! Can‘t believe this hotel has only 2 stars, it feels like 3! We could have stayed longer. It was very comfortable and perfect room and bed size.
The hotel is a good standard and location on the main canal is good.
The bathroom was good with shower over the bath.
Staff were friendly and had quite good English.
Street parking seemed generally available and free from 7pm to 9am and about 2.4 euro for 2hrs but rises to 25 euro over 2.5hrs.
The studio has a great location. It also has a very comfy bed and a spacious wardrobe. Both of these are not common in this category and I absolutely enjoyed sleeping in a comfy bed compared to the sofa beds. If I come back to Sete (without a car) I would stay here again.
The location was perfect in a perfect little town that is really a big town with tons to do...
The hostel/family hotel has comfy beds,, is clean, safe, friendly, well staffed, middle class French, and overall lovely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT 👌 👏 👍 🙌 😀
This apartment has an amazing view of the port of Sète. We awoke to a spectacular sunrise streaming into the rooms. There are quite a few steps up to reach the apartment but it is worth the climb. also there was adequate storage space for our bicycles.
Quite spacious room with some basic cooking amenities and walking distance to the town's principal beaches. Nearby L’Essentiel beach-fronting restaurant is a treat. If you come with a family you may find the hotel's large pool handy.
Le Petite Bijou is a fantastic small apartment in Sète. Gréât location, comfortable bed, clean and great owners. Last year we stayed at a nice hotel across the canal but we really enjoyed sitting out on the tiny patio at Le Bijou.
Parking is easy and secure. The room ( superior Patio) is a good size, the bathroom is excellent and the bed is very comfortable. The room is very quiet.
The hotel is in an excellent position right in the centre of everything.
It’s an easy walk from the train station. There is a street market almost outside the Hotel on Friday. Cinema close by. Bar/Restaurant on the corner of the street. In short the location.
Romain was very helpful, cordial, knowledgeable about Sète. Breakfast was good, location, too. Cafés, restaraunts a minute walk. Next time in Sète, will stay here.
Fantastic position, on the canal, very bright open space very well furnished and decorated.
Very well equipped kitchen.
Easy to walk to all the amenities in Sète.
We arrived at the hotel on the Bastille Day when some activities were held on the river nearby. There were quite some restaurants and parking slots in the area.
great welcome at the hotel from a very efficient receptionist, very cleverly equipped and designed room even if a bit small. Nice breakfast, wonderful location.
