Really enjoyed our overnight stay at this Ramada hotel Cheltenham, the staff very friendly and accommodating. Only disappointment where showing some areas being tired or needing minor decoration/repair.

On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely reptionist who was very helpful and informative.
As I'm not very able to climb stairs she changed our room to ground floor. The room was light and airy and a good size and nicey decorated. The bathroom was clean and well equipped.
We were aware that the restaurant was under refurbishment and was told about the food van on site and shown a very reasonable price list.
After settling in, we went through to the bar area and patio. Both were very nicely done. You could see the work that had been done to a very high standard. And if these areas are anything to go by, then the restaurant will be fabulous when completed.
All the staff that we encountered were extremely helpful.
My friend and I are already planning our next stay.

It's more the wider area one should consider, not just the village. Although, there is a cute village store which seems cater for everyone's needs. The three counties countryside - the history, the contours, the colours - that is what you come here for. And come here you should. There are lots of sweet little pubs dotted all around. Lots of places to walk, to lie in the grass and relax, to read, to sing madrigals etc.

Easy to find, quiet village location with country walks all around. Local pubs/restaurants a short drive away but not open at the start of the week in early April. Not far from Gloucester, just a 10-15 min drive away.
