We had a mixed bank holiday stay and therefore this is a bit of a mixed review.
I am going to start with the good parts.
The hotel is right on the seafront and very close to the town centre, so everything is on your doorstep.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
The room itself is nicely decorated and clean, even though the outside of the hotel looks like it has seen better days. The bed is comfortable and the shower strong enough.
The buffet breakfast tasted good and even though it was very busy we didn't have to wait for anything.
The kids entertainment was good and the hotel has a small swimming pool that is open until 10pm.
On the seafront of Lytham St Anne’s just opposite the promenade, Offshore - The Inn Collection Group offers free parking, serves home-cooked meals, and is a 5-minute walk from St Anne’s Edwardian...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bedford Hotel. We went for the Lytham Festival and the hotel was in a great location not far from the beach and a 5 min drive from the festival. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and well equipped with a large wardrobe and plenty of hangers. Iron and ironing board, hair dryer, tea and coffee. There were toiletries in the bathroom soap shampoo and shower gel. A slight improvement would be to add a small shelf in the shower as there isn't anywhere to put the shampoo whilst washing your hair which proved quite difficult. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and a good choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, fresh fruit juice and a full English all included in the price. I would definitely stay again.
Located on St.Annes Promenade, this stylish hotel overlooks the Irish Sea and St.Annes Beach, and offers stunning interior decor and quality furnishings.

Lytham town is quaint & has lots of lovely cafes & bars. There are all kinds of shops, many very classy.
St Anne`s shopping area is not quite as good but it leads straight to the pier & beach area. Lots of nice walks. Fairhaven lake area very pretty.

St annes is perfect place for family break with the option to travel through to blackpool or the shops and cafes in lytham. St annes is a place my small children love due to the sandy beach and amusement at the pier lots of memories to be made.

Been too Lytham & Lytham St Anne’s x3 now.
Been too Lytham & Lytham St Anne’s x3 now. Hubby absolutely loves it there & the beaches are lovely (though I’m not a lover of sand). There are plenty of restaurants, pubs/bars & shops too suit all pockets & tastes. We’ve walked from Lytham St Anne’s through to St.Annes on Sea (where the Windmill is) & then round to Lytham square where there are lots of places for a drink & meal, after stopping at a local bar with pub grub (The Railway). So yes I’d recommend. Beaches are safe, there’s a small funfair, & plenty of garden’s (e.g. Ashton’s Park) & if it rains there’s a cinema & an indoor pool. So also plenty to keep kids entertained. The bus service is pretty regular although it can be confusing if you are new to the place - we would have gotten bus into Blackpool (if a local hadn’t told us) instead of into Lytham Square where we were going for a meal at the ‘Olive Tree’, 54 is also good as are Allegria (in St Anne’s) & The Anatolia Sky (on sea front). The chippy near the pier is also good (& cheaper than what we pay at home for fish & chips) with big portions.

We walked to Lytham one day and to Blackpool and back the next, even in not so good weather but St Annes is right in the middle of the two. The town itself is lovely and with plenty of charm and plenty of nice pubs etc. We had a lovely fish supper in the "St Annes Fish Restaurant", very reasonable and delicious. As it was off season, not too busy but thats how we like it. A trip to the "Island cinema" was a pleasant change on a dreary day.

Clean spacious room, loads of tea/coffee/milk provided and even biscuits. Unlike most hotels the room had proper lighting as well as reading lights over the bed. Plenty of sockets with USB ports as well. The owners couldn't have been more friendly. Excellent breakfast freshly cooked to order as well as cereal/continental items available. Lovely fresh coffee as well.
Excellent location, a few minutes from the buses to Blackpool and Lytham.
The location of this hotel is excellent for both St Annes & you can easily get to Lytham by car or walking or by bus.
The hotel is overlooking the beach & weather permitting they have live music on in the afternoons, which is popular with both residents & public. The staff are mostly very friendly but the bar service can be slow. The cooked breakfast was very good although they had run out of yogurt on both mornings we were there?
Great location within easy access to Blackpool with a good value public transport network; £6 24 hour bus/tram pass
Hotel in the centre of Lytham within walking distance of quality shops, eateries, bars and lovely walks along the prom
Room cleaned every day and fresh towels
Staff pleasant and helpful, able to make a reservation for an evening meal without any problem and would recommend especially when Lytham is busy
The host were very nice and chatty, they made you feel at home and were very welcoming,
There is a louge and a front conservatory type seating area where you can chill out and watch the world go by,

Breakfast was good, cereals, fresh bread, jams/honey, fresh fruit, yogurts and cook breakfast on request
Our room was gorgeous and had all we could want in there. The breakfast was exceptional, cooked to perfection and we were full all day! The dining room is fabulous and so well designed. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. Wonderful hotel, right in the heart of Lytham. Highly recommended.
the room seemed very recently renovated, spacious and bright with views of the beach and the main square, the location is super central in the pretty town of Lytham.
We were going to Lytham Festival which is in the Green, not even 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
