Lovely, comfortable guest rooms in an adorable townhouse. The host treated us warmly, gave great local recommendations, and made us feel at home in the super cute breakfast room with coffee/tea available 24/7. Our rooms were perfectly quiet and decorated with unique art and local ceramics. The bathrooms were clean with nice, hot showers. Breakfast was fabulous. I especially loved the buttery pancakes and perfectly cooked eggs. Easily found street parking. The location was perfect for strolling around the adorable town center. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Noreen was very friendly, we forgot something and she let us know. Breakfast was very good, you can choose from a couple of options as well as having a continental, never seen that in another B&B and done to hotel standards. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Ring of Kerry.

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town.
Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit. Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park. We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Kenmare was a lovely town and the alternative B & B we found was friendly and welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast. We stayed at Davitts for the second two nights and ate there and it was great.

A lovely town which was close to our B&b. Lovely pubs with live music each night and excellent food. Lots of cafes and some git shops too. Beautiful sites to explore in the area like Killarney great park and the gap of dunloe to name but a few. There are stunning mountain views , peninsulas and rivers . Great base for both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.
Great base for both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. Many restaurants but several were fully booked. Live music in a few even on weeknights. Free parking and toilets across from the church.

Bernadette and her husband were extremely welcoming and gave us a lot of information and tips about getting around Ireland and Kenmare. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable! It’s full of little details that make all the difference. It is also only a quick walk into the town centre. Our hosts were very accommodating of our dietary requirements and went above and beyond to provide a delicious vegan breakfast which was served in a beautiful conservatory. Nick and Dólan keep it spotless clean and care for all needs, they are very helpful and really, really nice guys with a good sense of humour. As we were on the road all day, we had too less time to chat with them unfortunately. Nick provided us with information about what to do on Beara Peninsula etc. The bed is super comfy and there’s a back terrace facing River Sheen. We definitely recommend the Kingfisher Riverside Retreat.

No hotels, or B&Bs. It was a great place to recharge the batteries. Nearby places in Kenmare to buy food so it was easy making meals. Very quiet and peaceful location. Outstanding views. There is a golf course close by, but don't recall if it's open to non-members. Just off the Ring of Kerry with easy access to the ring.

A special mention for the staff who were courteous and friendly but never overwhelming. Free tea and carrot cake in the afternoon, exactly the tonic after a long walk. We also had a free electric charge point at our disposal, so the little things really do help!
