The property is wonderful, well planned and amenities are in spot. To the people with kids and infants-They have a special play area for kids and a crèche full of soft toys for little ones to keep them (and in turn yourselves!) relaxed and entertained which is a major concern for parents during travels. Also they have a very shallow end (8-10 inches of water approx) of pool where your little one can splash around to their heart’s content and this is a feature unique to Taj. Taj had a good spread for the breakfast and even accommodated our baby with some fresh juice. The whole resort is very kid friendly. The staff are very courteous and prompt. We tried the grill restaurant on the roof top and it’s food was pure bliss! We enjoyed the European nonveg grill and the Indian nonveg grill there which was an experience by itself.

Lovely unique stay in Old town Udaipur with fabulous architecture and very helpful staff. We were in awe of the old world charm and decor in our room. Yuvraj was great with very useful tips about exploring the area and Jitendra was just as nice the next day. We had an incident where we accidentally locked ourselves out and the staff were very quick to help, providing us with another room while the issue was sorted (our fault entirely) and we were so pleased with how accommodating they were.
Luxury awaits at The Leela Palace Udaipur with rooms that feature stunning views of the City Palace or Lake Pichola, situated within landscaped grounds. It has an exclusive spa and outdoor pool.

A truly lovely city without the chaos of Jaipur or Delhi. It felt like an oasis. The city centre is very exciting - and attractive. The sunset boat ride is a must, also the puppet show at the museum, and the folk dancing at the city palace.

Little Peepal House is very conveniently located near by Jagdish Temple and very close to Jagore Ki Havelli. Parvat was an excellent host and went above and beyond to help me get tickets for the Rajasthani Folk Dance show and Jagore Ki Havelli and took me to TigerLake and Ahar Cenotaphs - worth the trip. I loved Udaipur, and Parvat made it all the more memorable. HUGE THANKS TO YOU!!!
Note that the hotel is very tall and steep so you will have to climb stairs. The rooftop view is excellent! We watched fireworks from here on NYE!
This property is located near / as part of the city palace complex, so location is awesome. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We got upgraded to a suite which was excellent and had a great view of Lake Palace. They have good carts outside the hotel to take you to the main gate of the old town or city palace. Overall the stay was fabulous! They have heritage walk in the hotel at 5 pm, which we really wanted to join but didn’t have the time too. And did I mention the view from the hotel and our room - incredible!!
I recently stayed at Hotel Madiram Palace in Udaipur and overall, it was a decent experience. Although the restaurant was not operational during my stay, the staff was helpful in providing recommendations for other dining options nearby. The hotel also offered a common drinking water dispenser in the lobby for guests' convenience. Despite these minor setbacks, the peaceful and calm atmosphere of the hotel made for a relaxing stay. I would recommend this hotel for those seeking a decent and tranquil stay in Udaipur.
Clean and comfortable room.
No bad smell, niether from room nor from linens.
Batroom has been designed well and it was super clean.
The USP is Rooftop Resturant with panaromic view of beautiful udaipur city , palaces abd lake.
Food served by restaurant is also excellent.
Entires staff from manager to front desk, house keeping , resturant are very much polite and always on their toes to serve you.
Sepcial thanks to Yogesh at Front desk and Mr. Mohit probably the hotel incharge.
Great location next to the lake and overlooking the Taj Summer Palace. That's the James Bond island in Octopussy. The hotel staff were excellent and all very friendly. Harsh on reception speaks wonderful English and was very helpful. The cleanest hotel of our stays in India. Spotless bathroom. The rooftop has a restaurant which is where you have breakfast. They also serve food and drink here. Brilliant views over the lake and to the Palace which is less than 5 mins away on foot.
Amet Palace Haveli is hidden away in Udaipur's old town, making it a quiet but conveniently located place to stay. Close to the footbridge, the hotel offers well-appointed clean rooms with big beds and good showers. Ask for a lakeside view (we had room 133 - which was perfect).
The hotel's restaurant was very good - offering wonderful evening views over Lake Pichola. If it's dry, ask for table 9. Otherwise, a generous Rayan tree provides ample cover.
At last a hotel with a lift ,no more trudging up flights of stairs. Good WIFI, clean, TV (not used),helpful staff, usual rooftop balcony and restaurant,I recommend the Indian breakfast for value). Location at an intersection opposite a busy temple ergo a degree of noise, close to palace and museums. Only problem I did not seem to be able to get hot warter in the shower possibly my room or possibly myself. Overall good value and recommended.
The property is gorgeous and well situated. The lake facing rooms are breathtaking, the private balconies in the rooms give you your private space to admire the beauty of Udaipur. The staff is really supportive and willing to go the extra mile to help. The location of this place is perfect , you can view and walk to almost all the main attractions like city palace, Bagore ki haveli, from their hotel rooms and rooftop.
Set in a beautiful traditional Haveli right in the centre of old town Udaipur (excellent location.) The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming and Sunil was an excellent host giving good advice around local events. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended from four nights to eight nights in two different rooms (both rooms were lovely but if you have the budget I highly recommend going for the suite!)
fabulous reception staff, incredible position of the hotel, in fact if you do not choose this one or the nearby taj you will not enjoy the real taste of udaipur
tried also the restaurant at the swimming pool, excellent service and one of the best chefs and food I encountered in India
congratulations to the manager for running so well this difficult hotel
Tak Inn provides an excellent service and hospitality. They ensure to provide whatever we request them. House keeping staff
provided an excellent service in maintaing and cleaning the room. Always greet us with a broad smile on his face. It is a must recommended hotel at Udaipur. Their Breakfast and dinner Buffet were very good.
The hospitality of the staff was very good and special mention and big thanks to Mr.Bharath.The hotel is situated at a prime location with easy access to all Udaipur tourist points, the views from the rooftop is amazing, morning view is stunning, the sunrise view is romantic. Booked the hotel with the views......loved the views ❤️
This is the place to choose if you want the luxury of a hotel and warmth of a homestay. It was a lovely heritage property, at a walkable distance from the city palace and other tourist attractions. The best part was definitely the gracious owners and the lovely staff. I highly recommend this place in Udaipur.
The property location is just excellent very near to the sajjangarh monsoon palace and the view of the palace at night from
The hotel is excellent. The property ambience is excellent with the exquisite Rajasthani touch. Especially the way staff greets us with “NAMASTE” is truely indian and warming.
Clean rooms , bathroom and other services of hotel and mainly feeling secured and comfortable..
Special Thanks to Mr.Aman who supported us during our stay for good support and provided reference paper of most visited places which us a lot to manages our planning of udaipur to cover most places .
When we entered the hotel, we actually felt like a palace room. The room is very spacious. The hotel staff is very friendly especially Mr. HarshJi.
The hotel is located at the heart of Udaipur City. The food is delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Khakhri haveli.
I came to udaipur for my entrance exam , i chose the best hotel to take the calmness. This is best hotel. I even called my friends to stay here. We enjoyed alot, hopefully the best hotel experience. Thanks to the hosts - Pragya and Elivia.
