Driving in the grounds were really well kept - the property did not look like anything we expected. The interior is gorgeous. Quiet sitting, reading, spots. Luxurious feel to the spaces using lighting, fantastic artwork and beautiful books. The views out front were wonderful. Living Area was so comfortable and inviting. Kitchenette had everything needed. Grenivik Guesthouse, hotel in Artun

Set by the Eyjafjördur Fjord in central Grenivik, this property offers free parking and rooms with a flat-screen TV. The historical farm and church site of Laufas is 9 km away.

Our stay was extremely pleasant. Grenivik Guesthouse has been a beautiful surprise in the North of Iceland after days of camping. We would've definitely loved to stay longer to enjoy the peace, the comfort and the landscape. The house was very clean, our room was very comfortable and big enough for two, and all the common spaces were really well organized so we had our privacy but also some lovely interaction with other guests, and the hot tub has been a very pleasant extra to enjoy at sunset. But the best part of our stay was definitely Ingólfur, the host. His welcoming was very warm and kind, he was very open and helpful as a host, he gave us a lot of tips as soon as we arrived, and prepared us a really delicious breakfast with a lot of local ingredients. Ingólfur was also very kind to stay with us during our breakfast -and even longer- to talk with us about Icleand history, traditions, culture, geography and all the curiosities we had. He has a special place in our hearts.

What are great stay, it has everything you need. Great view and we saw 5 cruise ships from the backyard towards the ocean during 2 nights stay. Hoste is easy to communicate and super nice, we couldn’t find cooking oil and laundry detergent, he delivered and left at the front door. Note: if you need additional washing room (W.C) . There is a public one only less 100 meters away, open for 24 hours, very clean.
