The location can't be better if you want to visit Fushimi Inari Taisha. The room was comfortable and well equipped, particularly the kitchen, with pans, dishes and a cooktop.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and I loved the deep bath tub (great to relax in after a day of exploring).
Very close to the station, which was great for getting about.
Check in was at 3pm but we were able to drop our bags off earlier, allowing us to spend the day bag free.

Perfect location near the central station. The room was nice and quiet (my wife is sensitive to noise and with closed windows we had no issues at all).
The reception is an interesting experience, as it might feel a bit creepy, but at the same time I enjoyed it a lot and it's definitely one of the highlights that I will remember :) Those are not some cheap gimmicks, but very well done and integrated in check in/out animatronics. Nothing special, but being done well, it provided us with a memorable experience :)

Rooms were a little small although neat and clean, and perfect for rest after a day of walking. The balcony was very welcome. Other facilities such as the lounges, coffee and tea facilities, music and drinks in the evenings, laundry, and bathing house were also very good. Proximity to Kyoto Railway Station was perfect.
