The locate is exellent. I was reluctant to give a good review because we consider this a hidden gem and we wanted to be able to go there when were available. We just loved it and plan to go there again for a longer stay. The host was waiting for us when we arrived. He even provided us with a fruit tray. The next day he gave us a free tour of the town. He was also available for suggestions for dining and shopping. It is located in a friendly Mexican community and we felt very safe.

A beautiful little Hostel/Hotel super close to the beach. I stayed in a dorm, which had its own terrace with a cute view. The rooms are spacious and nice, and the bed is super comfy. There is AC and hot and cold water. The staff is super nice, and there is fresh coffee in the morning =) I really liked the energy of the place and can highly recommend it. Thanks for the nice stay!

Wow, we loved Can Cocal so much. There are lots of beautiful places to stay in El Cuyo but this is definitely the best. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, cool and each has its own hammock. And the outside areas are what really make it - so many different areas to relax, eat, drink, read, chat whether day or evening, and the pool is gorgeous, refreshing and surrounded by beautiful palm trees. The food is so so delicious, the drinks are fantastic with a great happy hour, the atmosphere is so chill and friendly. All the staff are lovely and the owners went out of their way to make our honeymoon trip more perfect than we could imagine. The location is fab right next to the beautiful quiet beach, and a short walk from the centre.
