Massages are really good, high quality professionals. Asked for a couple massage (both at the same time) which was not an option but they made it possible.
Restaurant is very good price value.

The room was lovely and had an amazing view of the ocean and the Santuario de Santa Luiza. The room had a sitting area, and a balcony with chairs, and the bed, pillows, and duvet were all comfortable. The breakfast and the dinner menu were varied and the food was delicious.

Rui, the manager, was EXCEPTIONAL and went out of his way to make our stay amazing, going out to get gluten free bread for breakfast. As well as other kind gestures. He is terrific.

Very nice, quiet hotel. Very supportive personnel.
Gorgeous city by the sea. Beautiful blend of the old and the new, from a bridge designed by Gustave Eiffel to a modern shopping plaza in the centre of town near the main train station. A definite Parisian feel with lots of colorful sidewalk cafes and shops along clean, tree lined streets. I highly recommend making this a stop on your tour of Northern Portugal.

Viano do Castelo has a nice maritime feel to it with nearby beaches, historic old city center, many good restaurants, and sits below the amazing Santa Luzia Cathedral. One must visit the Cathedral and if daring go up to the top of the Cathedral (mix of elevator and then steps) for the best 360 degree views of the region, ocean and land.

I loved everything about Viana do Castelo.
I loved everything about Viana do Castelo. It was New Year's Eve and the atmosphere was incredible. Definitely one of the best nights of my life! The people, the decorations, the lights and although a lot of fun was being had, it just felt so safe and welcoming!
The next morning the streets were spotless, everyone wishing you a Happy New Year and it was all in all just perfect. I'll definitely be coming back. In fact I'd love to live there!

Lovely town to stroll around with lots of interesting buildings/architecture, nice boutiques and specialist shops and a good mix of places to eat. If we had stayed longer it would have been worth having a car but for 4 nights it was fine without. (Hotel has a car park)

Viana do Castelo is a great place to just relax if you want to get away from the tourist scene in the big cities. It's easy to go on day trips and outdoor activities from there. The food was amazing, the people polite and friendly. We hope to go back.

I really enjoyed staying in your beautiful apartment. It is so lovingly prepared, colors, materials and the design of the room are simply outstanding. As an architect, I appreciated the quality of craftmanship and very high-quality equipment.
Such lovingly designed accommodations are very rare. In addition, there is the very friendly welcome and the perfect location in the center of the old town of Viana do Castelo. A big thank you for allowing me to be your guest.

What a wonderful place to arrive at after a long, rainy day on the Camino. It was so clean, comfortable and quiet, it was the best sleep I've had since arriving in Portugal. The lady that welcomed me on arrival was lovely and spoilt me for breakfast in the morning. Cafe Catete was just down the road and the very kind South African lady served simple, tasty, cheap food. It was a miserable January day and I was alone there but it was perfect. Thanks!
Perfect location near shopping, train, bus, sights, market and restaurants. Many choices at breakfast buffet and coffee was the best of my six week trip. Room was large with fairly comfortable chairs. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially Rui whose kindness we appreciated. There are several comfortable sitting areas around the hotel to relax. Lovely library well stocked with books about Portugal. Too bad I don’t read Portuguese!
First of all the location 10 minutes away from Praia do Cabedelo and from Viana, second is a little paradise where you can rrlax and enjoy the north portugal atmosphere. Rooms where super clean and kitchen was well equipped and very comfortable. Common arras were incredibly beautifoul confortable and plenty of room was available. And above all i would like to thank Cecilia ( the owner) to make our stay specual makung fell us at home.
Very friendly and welcoming front desk. We were hiking El Camino de Santiago and tired, and this hotel was on the other side of town. GPS was taking us further down the beach than the actual location, so we were very happy we found it. Room was very nice with a view. The beach at this stage is mostly rocks, and during our stay in May it was fairly cool out, but great views. Overall, a very nice stay for our journey.
Spacious, well-furnished and well-equipped accommodation in a picturesque setting. Very friendly hosts. One could easily spend a few weeks just sitting out in the huge yard enjoying the beautiful scenery and walking along the nearby beaches. Very convenient to explore the entire northwestern part of Portugal (much better, in my opinion, than staying in Porto or its immediate vicinity).
The hotel is located conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The room was simple, but the walls are incredibly thin and you can hear your neighbors. Not the best if you want a good night’s rest before you start your walk on the Camino the next morning. Breakfast options included fruit, yogurt, bread, cold cuts, and cheese.
Fantastic hotel in historic buildings, on beautiful grounds. Beyond excellent service, since we were the only guests that night! Great room with comfortable beds and a very nice bathroom with shower in the tub. Outstanding breakfast with so much to choose from. Perfect location for a luxury stay on the Camino Portugués!
A lovely, nicely decorated beach apartment. Two nice bedrooms and a nice living area. The owner was very helpful and left us a lovely gift of wine and cake when we checked in. The apartment is 5 mins walk from the beach and 10 mins drive from Viana do Castelo. There are some nice beach cafes nearby.
The hotel is centrally located and was way beyond my expectations. The room was very comfortable, breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff was attentive and professional. I was very pleased with Melissa who checked me in and really looked after me during my stay. She is such a gem!
Hotel,,location and staff totally exceeded all our expectations. The little touches and breakfast were phenomenal. It was also right on the camino with wax to boot! Thank you for everything it was fantastic value for money and a real treat from the more stereotypical pilgrim hostels.
Alex is a very helpful, obliging and informative host. He has useful local knowledge that he is happy to share. I had very interesting chats with him about the local area, Portugal and the world.
The space is very nice, and the location can't be beat. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast - great way for two pilgrims to start their day of trekking through Portugal!
Very modern hotel right in the centre of Viana do Castelo and just a two minute walk from the train station. The room was spotless and plenty of hot water for the shower.
