Above everything, the silence in the room is what stands out. I was expecting such a quiet environment right in front of the landing strip. The second excellent point is for sure the breakfast. The food was of outstanding quality, tasteful and varied. The only remark maybe, it was not possible to get a proper espresso, only American coffee.

Situated with a lovely prospect of the lake and easy access for walking along the waterfront and to the shopping street and nearby gallery, we loved the location; such a short-drive from the airport made it the best choice after an international flight. The meal in the restaurant of Swedish cuisine, and yes, even a wonderful bottle of Swedish wine, recommended by a brilliant head waiter, was dazzling good fun. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and an elaborately diverse spread. Good coffee! The historic large room was comfortable and charming, with fine bed. One of our favorite hotel stays!

The hotel is basic, but also perfectly adequate. The room was impeccably clean, and provided everything I needed. It was quite basic and the room could use a bit of cosiness. However, I would take cleanliness and efficiency over cosiness. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. The location is an easy walk from my terminal and the train station. Also, the room was shockingly quiet and I slept really well.
