The villa is absolutely beautiful! There are hammocks everywhere and you're literally 10 feet away from the ocean. The volunteers there were all very kind and welcoming. The surf lessons ROCKED. Ryan is an insanely incredible teacher. If you're going to stay here, you need to do a surf lesson.

I stayed 2 days and really enjoyed my time there.
I stayed in playa st Blas during the day and drove to playa El Tunco every evening for the restaurants and the night life. Check out farallones and al acantilados hotels for a more refined experience in La libertad.
The restaurant at the farallones is worth a visit at least

Beautiful beaches; it's is a shame business owners do not invest money in keeping the beaches cleaner. And some of the business owners empty waste in the ocean. So disappointing they have their business there and do not protect this beautiful beaches.

I love La libertad it has so many Beaches and places to explore. It is just amazing. If you live seafood or surfing this is the place. If you ever go there and like the living night and have fun like nightclubs visit El Tunco especially on weekends.

Prices do not reflect the value of the product.
Prices do not reflect the value of the product. The name "Resort" doesn't go with the facility since everything is rustic. Air conditioning does not work very well. I woke up during nights several times in a cold sweat. Bathrooms had only partial enclosures that allow water into the toilet area. Number of towels was limited. Body soap and shampoo was limited or none. La Libertad is a rural area that has limited formal business. So, wondering or shopping around the hotel is not feasible. I tried to cancel one of the two nights and was told it would be too complicated to do it. Food was fine but expensive. Prices were twice as high as what was available at next door beech. I enjoyed the views, the gardens, and the night tranquility. One night would have been enough though.
The location was prefect. Being in the heart of Surf City but far enough from the clubs. Yet only a 5 min walk with well lighted streets. Hotel has security 24hrs but it's not need. The breakfast was very good with a typical Salv flavor. It selection was enough for you to have a little of everything you may need. The location of the breakfast very nice, next to the to river with a bit of an ocean view.
Super comfortable room with great AC, excellent Wi-Fi, hot water, comfy beds, large well-equipped bathroom and use of washing machine. Also access to kitchen for hot water etc. Mary was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. Great views over the ocean from the second floor. Restaurant downstairs. If we came to La Libertad again, we’d definitely choose to stay here.
The rooms were clean, the hotel employees were really kind and the facilities in general are amazing. The rooms have comfortable beds. The breakfast is quite awesome. The pools are clean. It has access to 2 different beaches, both are great. Checkin and Checkout process is fast. No surprise extra charges.
Me and my friend arrived from Guatemala and searching for a place to relax after some hart days. With this hotel we find the perfect place. The owner of the hostel was amazing, the food in the hotel own kitchen was really tasty and the view of the sea just nice. Perfect layover!
We had a really great time at the Resort. The host were so friendly, helpful and let us feel like a second home. The resort is located directly at the beach, you can rent surfbords and surf lessons. To get to El Tunco, El Zonte or La Libertad you need a uber (easy and cheap).
The staff was very kind and friendly. We liked the balcony very much, the beach is nice and the hotel is close to El Tunco Beach, El Zunzal and the town of La Libertad. We visited all three. We ordered and had fresh coconut water everyday - amazing! We'd certainly go back!
I have stayed in most of the coastal resorts in la libertad, Punta Roca is by far the best. They have great food and attentive staff. You can check the waves while having breakfast. And are steps away from some great surf spots including right out front.
The hotel is small. Rooms are comfortable good size. Bathrooms where clean. The shower needed to be change.
Everything was clean and it is pretty close from all the fun, but not so close that you can’t sleep from the noice. So location is very good.
The staff at the restaurants and other service areas are very professional. The rooms were clean and the hotel seems to be taking care of maintenance overall, though there is still room for improvement in both areas. The breakfast is good and generous.
I love the caves that the hotel sits on, it is so beautiful especially when the tides are low and you can actually take a walk and take in the scenery. The views are amazing the staff is polite and the manager was ever so thoughtful! Highly recommend!
Great hotel right near the beach, quick walk to check the surf. Lovely room with en suite. Staff were lovely and breakfast included was fantastic! Omlette and Eggs Benedict (El Salvador version) were both delicious.
Staff was excellent. Location was really good. You can even walk to El Tunco. The beach is not the best .
Power and water were gone for a few hours due to the whether. Overall, I would stay at this property again.
The hotel is a quirky building just outside the town. The outdoor shower and hot tub were lovely. It was a small hotel and the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and cooked to order.
It is an amazing hostel just at the beach outside of La Libertad city centre. Very calm, chilled vibe, surf rental and great breakfast. Overall it was a perfect stay!
