Cha Am is the first nice beach town you can get to South of Bangkok. The beach and town are quite nice, while of course nowhere near the islands or Andaman coast in terms of beauty. I like it for the friendly vibe, great restaurants affordable price level and relaxing beach while on the way through to more scenic locations. You can reach Cha Am in a day when driving from the North, e.g. 10 hours from Chiang Mai. That makes it a very good stop to spend a day or two.
Tucked away location, clean air, spotless room, excellent service, very friendly and courteous staff. Family-friendly, but lovely for couples. The restaurant food was abundant and delicious. Note: we only ate Thai food. It sits right on the beach. When we arrived, we were offered a much larger room with a full balcony at a small increase in price.

For Me Cha Am is, South Cha am beach and north Cha Am beach. North Cha Am Beach is better for Me, a lot of Thai people and less foreigners, a good mix. Water is not Clear as in Phuket area as Rawai, Kata, Karon. very big difference. but I do like Cha Am. The town area other side road Nr. 4. I do not know, as I]m not interested in towns. I do like Cha Am much more then Hua Hin.

Cha am is a great place to aim for when just arriving.
Cha am is a great place to aim for when just arriving. There is a fast bus directly from the airport. I use it the acclimatise, basically getting used to the heat and jet lag for a couple of days before moving on.

Typical Thailand, poverty and luxury hand in hand.
Typical Thailand, poverty and luxury hand in hand. Far too few facilities close by and location unless in the middle of the town. Seven Elevens every 200 yards. Taxis can be a scam so be aware of prices. We paid 105 baht one day and 220 baht the next (via hotel!).
Very very nice hotel, exceptionally clean, with well decorated rooms in pleasant colour schemes and good quality furniture. The beds and linen are outstanding and very comfortable. Great location in a quiet Soi just off the beach, but close by to restaurants and a 7/11 store.
The owner and staff were delightful, very nice, really kind and helpful. Lovely people.
I can truthfully say this is one of the best value and cleanest hotels I have stayed for the price it's exceptional value. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I love the atmosphere of this place so much.
It’s a family business kind of place. The owne are there to take care of everything themselves, check-in/out, breakfast. Location maybe not so close to Cha am beach but with car or motorbike you’ll be there within no time. a lot more quiet.
The room is simple but cozy in design. Bathroom is big and comfy. They actually cares for small details for such a price offered. I’ll be coming back for sure since i feel like staying at home.
My overall rating is: 4/5, at least meet my expectation of my first time visit.
- Room was good. A few things didn't work properly but that's fine by me.
- Breakfast and services was good, meet my expectation.
- Spa and fitness was also good, at lease the fitness was the best I've ever used in nearby area hotels.
- Dinner at the beach restaurant was great.
Modern tropical, cozy and Muji inspired mood and tone for guest room. The pool and room are larger than normal Huahin 4/5 star hotels. Highlights are architecture along walkway, pool bar and the pool itself.
Staffs are attentive, follow the requests efficiently and provide quick checkin. If you cannot take breakfast, you can pre-order breakfast box as well.
Delicious food - all dishes were amazing.
Good staff - got issue with the room and when we talked to front desk ladies they were very nice and kind, helped us to get the new room the next day.
Great location - Beach front and very peaceful.
We love when we parked the car, they got golf cart approaching us to take us to our room. Amazing service.
The room and pool facilities were fantastic. The hotel is within walking distance to a small beach with lots of cafes / restaurants. We were there during the week for 3 days and felt as though we had the pool to ourselves. The hotel is very peaceful and the staff have been exceptional.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and really well maintained. Really friendly staff. Complimentary coffee making facilities in the lobby. The bed was super cosy. AC. Sparkling bathroom. Value for money off the charts. Would love to stay there again. Perfectly located near the beach.
Lived in Thailand for 8 years for my taste this is the perfect place. Old Style but well maintained photos don't do it justice.. rooms are kept very clean and maintained very well.. We went with my family and everyone loved it..
Previously named Haven Resort, the hotel has been renovated with a modern look and keeping the old charm.
Great place to stay for a peaceful holiday. All is perfect, room, service, swimming pool, beach front, breakfast and gym
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was huge. The hotel was very nice, the food was good, and the beach was lovely. It's not too far from town either, 600 Bhat roundtrip in a taxi.
The hotel is not a new or modern style but they keep it clean. The side of room is bigger then others which lead to have more space. It’s close to the beach as well.
All you’d expect at a 5 star hotel. Beautiful outdoor areas yin front of the hotel. Very close to the beach. Ocean view was spectacular. Great value for money.
