Our small family run hotel is located about 5km south of the old town of Salzburg, in a quiet and scenic location. Breakfast was exceptional. Had dinner there one night. Food was excellent. Blobergerhof had a cozy and welcoming feeling. Everything was in tiptop shape.

Situated just 5 km from Salzburg’s historical centre, the Mostwastl offers a garden with views of the Untersberg Mountain. Facilities include an elegant cocktail bar. Everything was renovated and clean. The balcony and view were incredible. The staff was super friendly, especially since we do not speak German. The cakes and pastries were amazing. I liked that breakfast was included. The beds were comfy, and the shower was big. We added this stop to our Europe trip to relax before going to visit our family in Italy. It was truly a great experience. It was peaceful. There is a bus stop nearby, number 5 that goes directly to town for 3.10 euros. It took about 15 minutes, which was convenient.

Very clean room and comfortable bed with nice view from balcony. We had a car and could drive to the old town where there was ample parking during our stay (early October).

The proprietors are wonderful - very friendly, charming and helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. There is an elevator, which is not always the case for small hotels and B&Bs. Right next to.a bus stop for convenient travel. We didn't have a chance to use the sauna - next time!
