This hotel is set at the Leie River in the center of medieval Ghent, 1640 feet from Saint Bavo Cathedral and a 2-minute walk from Veldstraat Shopping District. The staff was incredibly kind and very helpful, the place was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had both our kids and they did their best to make sure we had a great stay. Excellent place. We would definitely go back to the same hotel.

This former monastery offers rooms in the center of Ghent, only 10 minutes’ walk from the Belfry. PoortAckere dates from 1278 and offers unique character, free Wi-Fi and a garden terrace. The old monastery atmosphere was simply just wonderful. I was amazed by how peaceful and how beautiful everything is. I was provided bath rope, slippers, shower cap and towels. The shower and toilet were very clean. My room smelled so nice as well. The from my window I could see the old fashioned colored glass windows of the building, which is just fantastic!

Heirloom Hotels - The Mansion has accommodations in Ghent. The property is around 27 miles from Boudewijn Seapark, 27 miles from Damme Golf and 28 miles from Minnewater. If you love staying in a piece of history this old restored mansion made into a hotel was nice. The breakfast was decent selection.
