The location is good, the rooms are clean enough and the breakfast has coffee, tea, milk and cakes even though they say it’s not included in the price. The wifi is good and the check-in and out is easy.

The Pousada is really beautiful, it has a private parking area very good breakfast and a super kind and friendly Staff. The position is perfect: 3 minutes walking from the center of Paraty.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property.... I needed to take some time to really put thought into this review. I arrived in Paraty after experiencing some of the roughest days that I have been through while traveling. After having my personal belongings stolen from me in Columbia, I struggled to find the motivation to continue this trip. After driving 6 hours from São Paulo, I knew that I needed to find a place that I could lay my head down and get some good rest. I hadn’t slept in two days, I was on the verge of a mental breakdown, and I had really lost faith in the continuation of this journey. As I’m currently packing my things, and getting ready to continue on the road to Rio, I can comfortably say, my confidence and positivity has been restored. The man on the mountain is one of the most incredible people I have ever met. Marcello greeted me at the door, and after hearing my story, gave me one of the biggest and most sincere hugs that I’ve had in a long time. He made sure that I had everything I needed to be comfortable. The property was clean, air-conditioned, and beautiful. We sat and spoke for about an hour about family, culture, and backgrounds. I immediately felt as if I was a part of his family - and he treated me like a son. I was stressed out, following the drive from São Paulo, because I could not understand the signs, and was afraid that I had accumulated tickets as I had gone through each of the tolls. He assured me not to worry, and that everything would be OK. I explained that I needed to be in Rio the following day, but I hoped to be able to take a boat to the islands for a couple hours. All of the tours in town were very expensive and only returned to the island very late. Once again, he told me not to worry, and assured me that everything would be OK. The following morning, I woke up to one of the most beautiful views in the city. Marcello‘s house is one of the highest on the mountain, therefore, offering one of the most beautiful views in the city.
