Tião Botelho Guest House in Rio de Janeiro provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Very good location in Lapa. Near to the bars and the whole nightscene but still in a quiet area to get a good sleep. Rooms and common area like in the pictures. It was clean and provided with what you need for a stay. Alberto was very attentive to whatever you could need. Thank you!! 😃

Loved Debora at the front desk, not only is she friendly, she’s also attentive even during people checking in and out en masse all day every day. All the other staff are great too, most understood basic English but would definitely help if you speak Spanish or Portuguese

All the staff, very professionel and helpfull. Nice hotel. Feeling at home. Convenient location, easy to move quickly around with Uber, supermarkets, old small bars with Brasilian music. Friendly population.

Offering an outdoor pool, Vila Galé is located right in Rio de Janeiro´s city centre. The hotel features a complete wellness centre and guests can enjoy their on site restaurant and bar. This hotel was amazing! Right in city, walking distance to everything, inc carnival parties and sumbadrone. The food was the best in Brazil and prices rediciously cheap considering. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Pool was lovely and closed by 10 pm.

Américas Granada Hotel has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Rio de Janeiro. Staff were super friendly and service was great except when the pool bar is open it is almost impossible to get anything from the restaurant. It took 40min to get a Coca Cola up from the downstairs restaurant. They should just say “no service at the pool” and I would’ve got it myself. Other than that a great value stay.
