This fine 4-star hotel enjoys a peaceful location in the Ehrenfeld district, near the Stadtgarten (park), just to the west of Cologne city center. Guests enjoy free WiFi in all areas. The Imperial was a PERFECT choice for me, a solo traveler. It’s located in a very quiet, lovely, tree-lined neighborhood, far enough away from the town noises, crowds & traffic yet close enough to reach cafés & shop quickly on foot + public transportation (5-min walk to closest U-bahn stn). My room was spotless, nicely lit, very well insulated from sounds from other guests & very spacious & generously furnished. The best part for me was the super friendly staff :-) I was welcomed with a smile & helpfulness every time I walked by reception. I felt very well looked-after during my entire stay. Absolutely lovely, friendly staff! If I’m ever in Köln again, I would not hesitate to return to this hotel!

Black Hotels Köln provides accommodations with a bar, private parking and a terrace. This is the perfect place for a goth like me. Everything is nice, black, clean, modern. The room looked like on the pictures, even better. The room is so big, like a small house. Reception workers were very nice and kind. Train station and the concert place is near. I would really like to live in this hotel, I didn't want to leave 😅
