The Fontenay, Designhotel des Jahres 2023 und 2024 is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. Great location, beautiful rooms, we enjoyed the pool with the nice view. Breakfast was really superb as well, and all the staff were very professional, friendly and super helpful.

Room was very clean, hotel was very clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great central location, close to trains and buses, said walk to the Alster - yet in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Instead of a mini-bar, there was a separate room offering cold drinks, snacks - at very reasonable prices, which was great. Continental breakfast; fresh cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, pastries, etc. Good value for money. Very comfortable stay, would definitely stay there again.

This hotel in central Hamburg offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Hotel Fresena is near Dammtor Train Station, Hamburg's CCH Exhibition Centre and the Alster Lake. Very nice, clean hotel in a quiet area. Easy to find and close to the Central station. Breakfast were excellent with lot of variety pastry and fruit.

We prefer a park view room, which is large and comfy, We like the room's colors: it is exquisite. The bathroom (shower) is large and comfy. The hotel has fine artwork practically everywhere—many first-class restaurants and a bar, etc. The reception staff is always perfect.

Just a 5-minute walk from Dammtor railway station and Hamburg's city centre, this privately run hotel in the historic Dammtorpalais is located near the congress centre and exhibition grounds. Everything was excellent. The lady at the reception, which may be the owner, goes out of her way to help you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Inside the hotel is beautiful and really a place to rest well.
