The Fontenay, Designhotel des Jahres 2023 und 2024 is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. Great location, beautiful rooms, we enjoyed the pool with the nice view. Breakfast was really superb as well, and all the staff were very professional, friendly and super helpful.

Located in Hamburg, The hotel offers free Wi-Fi connection and paid on-site parking. It's a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The exhibition grounds are 700 metres away. It was great to accomodate in this hotel and thanks a lot for your contribution to my amazing vacation. I gave up a small gift for you in my room :)

I liked everything about the hotel. My hotel room was bright and clean. So too the breakfast room. The location, close to the train station, is very convenient and the neighbourhood very pleasant. The staff, as well, were all very pleasant. The university is close by, so shops and services such as reasonably priced restaurants and a laundromat were within reasonable walking distance.

This 5-star hotel in Hamburg's Rotherbaum district offers free high-speed WiFi, 3 Restaurants, 2 bars, 1 Cafe and a luxurious spa with indoor swimming pool. Large room and bathroom. Very clean. Very well maintained. Gym was small but well equipped. Beautiful swimming pool.

A very nice hotel, with a perfect location when traveling to Hamburg University Law Faculty, very clean, with very pleasant and helpful staff, and excellent value for money. Recommended for someone who needs to spend a night or two in Hamburg
