Best regards and thanks to the owner Francky :) A very decent and honest guy. He helped us a lot and was very nice. He agreed to store our luggage when we needed it. As for the apartment. Great location. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful terrace. In addition, the opportunity to climb onto the amazing roof was a great added value.

Set in a historic building in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, once home to a former president, the adult-only Casa Sanchez is within 1 minute's walk of Conde street. The staff was very helpful, has a restaurant, a pool and a bar. It’s right in the colonial town but in a quiet area

Located in the heart of the first city of America, this hotel offers beautiful architecture and balconies with the characteristic ironwork of the 19th century. This is a fantastic option in Santo Domingo. Nicely situated in the historic centre with all sights in walking distance. The standard is good, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The best thing, however, is the breakfast outside on the roof terrace. Nothing beats that. Highly recommended.

The rooms running around this courtyard are well equipped with air-conditioning and overall are well incorporated in the colonial style with the old stone floors and arches. The restaurant is exceptionally good! This makes it a perfect place to stay if you're not feeling like traveling to another location for lunch or dinner. The Peruvian kitchen gives a varying menu where there is something for everyone to enjoy. In my three weeks of staying in the Dominican Republic, this is the place where the food was the most delicious.
