The location of the hotel, size of the room and the view were perfect. Only thing is that finding the hotel was little bit challenging because there is no sign of the hotel in the building which the hotel is in the 15th floor of a building. The hôtel is well located, at the limite of Gizeh district on Nile west bank, very close to Zamalek island and to old Cairo center. Gameat Al Dowal main street is just in front of the hotel, out of the traffic-jam areas at the rush hours (unlike Cairo center), useful to get a taxi or uber very quickly and go to Pyramids & Sphinx. The hotel an room are really clean and quiet, with very friendly staff, and with a restaurant located at the 10th floor, with a large view on west and north. Breakfast offers the expected and necessary diversity (sweet, continental...). Last point: there is a spa integrated to the hotel with quality service. Holiday Express is not a Marriott or a Hilton hôtel for sure but it has its own inner charm, offering a very good compromise between price, location and standing. I do recommend it 🙂👍

Receptionist are excellent especially Mr. Adil and another young girl working next day morning, always willing to help us even though we don’t know Arabic language but they help us to properly communicate with other people, venders, taxi drivers etc. Rooms are spacious, family hotel. Location is good.

The staff were always exceptionally helpful; I mostly ate outside the hotel, in order to widen my experience of Egyptian food. But the bar was a hive of activity and although I was travelling alone, I soon made many friends over a cool glass of Stella. Special commendation to Mustafa for his kindness and attentiveness to me.
