Djorff Palace has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Luxor. This is a fabulous boutique hotel. The hotel has an ideal location on the West bank that makes it easy to visit the Valley of the Kings and many other ancient sites. It is a very tranquil property with breath-taking views of the Nile and Luxor on the far bank. The hotel boat service to cross the Nile to Luxor town works extremely well. The architecture of the hotel is stunning and the individual rooms are very well designed with interesting original furnishings. The breakfast is excellent with fresh coffee and eggs. The dinner menu changes every day and offers a good choice of seasonal dishes. Most nights we dined at the hotel. The hotel does not sell alcohol, but you can bring in your own. Dr Marina is an excellent host, who makes you feel very welcome. She clearly knows how to organize and run a hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Djorff Palace has a relaxed atmosphere and Marina enjoys chatting and sharing her experiences in Egypt and beyond.

Ens ha encantat l'acollida del Hassan, les vistes de la terrassa de l'hotel, les vistes del balcó de la nostra habitació,... tot excel·lent! El Hassan ens ha explicat tot el que podíem fer a Luxor només arribar amb tot detall i ens ha ajudat amb tot el que hem necessitat, fins i tot per comprar medicaments! Ens ha gestionat un vol amb globus fantàstic i l'anada a Aswan amb taxi privat i excursions. A més, ens oferien té o café sempre que volíem, gratuïtament! A la terrassa hi ha un buffet fantàstic on poder dinar. Dormir al cantó oest de Luxor i en concret al Nile Roof Hotel, és la opció més tranquila, agradable i autèntica de cònèixer Luxor, sense venedors agobiant i just davant del Ferry. A més, té al costat tots els serveis que necessites ATM, botigues, lloguer de bicicletes, tuc-tucs, restaurants, farmàcia,... Tot ha sigut fantàstic gràcies a l'ajuda del Hassan.

Staff made everything they could to make us feel very welcomed. Great breakfast, and probably best Nile views you would ever get for your stay in Luxor. We want to come back! Ambiance, the people and culture. Mr Said and his colleagues were kind, helpful and amazing. They made my stay excellent and homely. I will def go back.

Located directly next to Madinet Habou Temple, Nour El Balad is located in Luxor. Wi-Fi access is available. It offers mud brick houses with cosy and traditional rooms nestled in a palm grove. We stayed in with kids a had amazing time. The host are perfectly nice and helpful. The house is like from a fairytale, simple but beautiful. Very calm area. Fair prices for trips and great food on demand cooked the traditional way. 100% recommendation! Kids loved it too.

Surrounded by landscaped gardens, Al Baeirat Hotel is located on the banks of the Nile. Featuring a swimming pool, a shopping arcade and a 24-hour front desk that offers ironing services. Location is terrific, so peaceful. Staff are fantastic. Free boat rides to the other side whenever you like were terrific. Room was great value for money, as was dinner

This air-conditioned hotel is in the Theban Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is probably one of the best options you can get in Luxor. The hotel offers comfortable rooms and a restaurant with very much delicious local food. The owner is a good host and the hotel staff is polite and helpful. You can and probably even should use an opportunity to order excursions to numerous local attractions: they are not really cheap (by Eastern European measures, not applicable if you are from US/UK/Western Europe) but you totally get what you pay for. You will get a local driver with a decent car who will drive you to the attractions and wait for you while you explore them. They have a pool, but I did not use it because had just 3 days in Luxor and no time to chill. The location is perfect if you want (and you do if you came to Luxor) to explore Kings Valley, Queens Valley and Hatshepsut Temple - the hotel is located just by Memnon Colossi and it will take you almost no time to reach those sites. To sum up, if you plan to visit Luxor, I advise to consider this hotel. You won't be disappointed.

This hotel is modern, clean and very spacious. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. I reached the hotel past midnight and they have waited for me, made sure that I feel settled and comfortable upon my arrival.
