Situated in Addis Ababa, 400 metres from Derg Monument, Melka International Hotel features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The Deluxe room is super spacious and clean, staff and manager are very friendly, breakfast has various options and the restaurant's food is tasty. The wifi connexion was better than expected considering Addis' standards, and the gym meets all the basic standards for a good training. I highly recommend the place for a short or even a long stay!

This was one of the few hotels that all amenities such as hot water and heater worked without issues. Attractions are nearby with a short taxi or minivan ride and a great cafe about 10 minutes walk. Estifanos and his team are very friendly and helpful, even the security guys are super nice! Would definitely return when back in Addis.

Hotellet er veldig slitt. Bildene er mye finere enn det ser ut i virkeligheten. Frokosten er skuffende enkel og det tar svært lang tid å få ekstra ting. Feks så var det av og til mulighet til å få omelett til frokost, den ene dagen fikk vi kun en stk uten flrklaring på hvorfor det ikke gikk an at vi fikk hver vår. Det beste på hotellet var badstu og steambad. Bassenget holdt god varme men bassengkantene var skitne av fett. Personalet i restauranten var veldig hyggelige.

Monarch Hotel ligger i Piazza, og har et utendørsbasseng. Wi-Fi er gratis, og alle rommene har satellitt-TV, minibar, sittehjørne, kaffemaskin samt eget bad med hårføner. Rommene har dessuten... Highly recommend for a traveler who appreciates simplicity, cleanness, surrounding access,& reasonable room rate($)

Situated in Addis Ababa, 200 metres from Asni Gallery, Ras Amba Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. There was a noisy wedding, could not use the terrace, best to know this in advance, not sure I would risk staying on a weekend again

Betsi Bed & Breakfast (BBB) is located in the Arada district of Addis Ababa, 600 metres from Yekatit 12 Monument, 1.4 km from Addis Ababa University and 1.2 km from Holy Trinity Cathedral. Stayed for 2 weeks - Biruk and his team were amazing - attentive, hard-working, and accommodating. Went on several day tours with Biruk - he is a great student of history and his tours were informative and fun - he’s a trustworthy guide I’d use again and again. Excellent tours of Unity Park, Mt Entoto, Merkato, and had lunch at the first hotel in the city. The breakfast room was also a great place to meet fellow travelers. There is a bank just downstairs with an ATM and several nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk - directly across the street from the National Museum - To be expected, occasionally electric or water is paused in neighborhoods or areas of the city - the team was very responsive with bottled water and additional light sources - Do bring earplugs as the school next door can have some exuberant students - overall really great place to stay - Amazing visit, tours and team - I will stay here again on my next visit to Addis -
