This property is 1 minute walk from the beach. The stylish, LGBTQ+ Legends Hotel is on Brighton’s busy seafront, in the heart of Kemptown. This hotel was a last-minute booking as we wanted an extra night in Brighton. We wished we had of stayed here in this hotel the whole time. It has lifts, a bar and food. The kind lady who checked us in upgraded us to a huge room with views that overlooked the Brighton jetty we were in our element. So disappointed to leave the following day to the hotel we had booked previously before leaving Australia.

I didn't have toilet in the room but had my own just for me 2 floors down. Despite very small room there was a shower. I stayed 2 nights and it was nicely cleaned when I was out.

Drakes is a luxury boutique hotel on Brighton’s seafront, overlooking the Brighton Palace Pier. It offers unique 4-star accommodation, and has a fine-dining restaurant and vibrant cocktail bar. The location is hard to beat, the building is gorgeous and the view is perfect. The staff was very forthcoming, too.

The hotel is tastefully decorated in muted colours with lovely limed doors and elegant lobby furniture and ornaments. Friendly and helpful staff are there to welcome guests on arrival, taking you to your room and explaining everything. The room was clean, with features such as a desk and chair for working, that are often not present in budget hotels. I can't recommend this place highly enough and would re-book in a heartbeat.
