There is a coffee machine and new bottles of water delivered every day. Breakfast is in the restaurant or can be delivered to the room. The bathroom has underfloor heating. Wonderful experience. Everything was top quality, from the staff to the room. The spa was very relaxing. Everything was very clean. The barmans were nice and gave me great advice on what to try.

Big shoutout to the staff who do an amazing Job , we enjoyed it that much we decided to not go get our flight home and check back in for another night!! The only place to stay in Edinburgh!!!!!!!!!!

Boasting stylish rooms with plasma-screen TVs and wall-sized magnetic maps, this refurbished hotel is 800 metres from Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station and 300 metres from the Royal Mile. The Grassmarket Hotel is excellently placed for visiting teh sights in Edinburgh. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I had a lovely single room away from the front of the hotel which meant that it was very quiet. There was everything in the room that I needed and no end of conveniently placed sockets and USB ports - some thought had gone into planning this room. The wall decorations were quirky and original. The use of space was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. As a woman travelling alone I also felt very safe there. Breakfast is not served at the hotel but next door, I did not have breakfast so cannot comment.
