Situated in Glasgow’s vibrant West End, Albion Hotel has colourful bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. Just 20 minutes’ walk from Glasgow centre, the hotel offers cooked breakfasts and period features. The room was very spacious and finished to a pleasant, practical and aesthetic standard, and so was the bathroom. There was a large desk, comfortable chair, nice view through large windows, hair dryer, etc. And cookies. The interior of the hotel makes a good impression as well. Overall, everything shows attention to detail. The price was reasonable, but the standard was by no means economic, it was not just comfortable but pleasant to stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is very good as well - close to the subway stop, but quiet (on a side street, opposite a river), in vicinity of green areas, and co-op. Getting to the centre is very quick and convenient, so I was very glad I chose this hotel over hotels in the centre.

We loved the beautiful spaces, the comfort and the location. Such a characterful place to stay. Great shower. Excellent neighbourhood close to park, shops, cafes etc. Quiet at night. Good communication with owner prior to stay. Good instructions on check in.

Our host Mark was exceptionally proactive and always available. Apartment was very well maintained and was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked up with all basic requirements, which was a pleasant surprise to us. WIFI was good. Netflix was operational on the TV.

Glasgow Youth Hostel offers 4-star VisitScotland accredited accommodation in a Victorian townhouse overlooking Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow’s lively West End, close to award-winning Kelvingrove Art... The interior style of the whole building was beautiful, there were multiple cosy and spacy common rooms, common kitchen with a lot of space, gas stove, microwave etc. The staff was helpful and kind, and the location is perfect.
