Hotel Royal Palace offers accommodations in Guatemala, guests can enjoy the on-site bar and free private parking is available. Every room is equipped with a TV. The location is absolutely perfect, right on the middle of the historical zone. If you get a room with a balcony, just make sure you have earplugs because the street is quite noisy, but this is part of the experience! The staff were wonderful, and they directed us to the Dollar City just down the street where we were able to buy earplugs. The restaurant is great too. Everything was clean and the staff tend to your room daily. The rooms are colonial-style, with high ceilings. The property is beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly, and the complementary breakfast at the corner restaurant was great. It felt super safe and secure. I was aware of reviews criticizing the facilities, but for the price and location, I was very satisfied. Safety, security and comfort were my priorities. Fresh paint was not.
