My stay at this enchanting villa, a former Butterfly Museum, in Budapest was an experience straight out of a fairy tale. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance of the place transported us to a different era, steeped in beauty and history. The villa itself is a masterpiece, beautifully preserved and adorned with intricate details that echo its past. The highlight of our visit was the warm hospitality extended by the owner, who not only welcomed us with open arms, chocolate and wine, but also took the time to share the fascinating story of the house. Hearing about the villa's transformation from a vibrant butterfly museum combined with etno pieces of a wonderful collection, to a luxurious guest house added an extra layer of charm to our stay. It was like living within the pages of a history book, surrounded by stories of the past. Every corner of the villa was impeccable, combining comfort with a touch of nostalgia. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, offering all the modern amenities without losing the historical essence. The cosy garden around the villa provided a serene retreat, perfect for morning or evening relaxation on the terrace. Located in the Nothern part of Budapest, the villa's location is very close to bus and tram ideal for exploring the city. We left the car at the property in a safe environment. Everything was conveniently accessible, yet once inside the gates, the hustle and bustle of the city seemed worlds away. Our stay was not just a vacation, but a profound journey through time. The owner's personal touches and genuine care made us feel more like treasured guests than customers. I left with wonderful memories and stories to tell, making this not just a trip, but a truly magical experience.
