Located directly on the banks of the Ganges River, the secluded Palace on Steps is only accessible on foot, 10 minutes from the road. The entire staff is wonderful, professional, helpful & attentive. I stayed for quite some time & like very much my room especially the world class view overlooking The Ganges. Away from the hyperactivity of this bustling city is of huge benefit as finding even a relatively quiet place here is quite a challenge. The rooftop restaurant offers breakfast, lunch & dinner so was excellent to just have to pop upstairs for meals.
