I've lost count of the number of times I've stayed here in the 35+ years I've been visiting India. They've expanded considerably during that time, taking more and more floors of the building and considerably upgrading the standard of the rooms - now very decent indeed, and now minus the smell of mothballs which used to pervade the hotel. Staff were friendly, and there is even a resident driver who is available to take you hither and thither by arrangement.
