Ayurvedic spa treatments, an outdoor pool and a fitness centre are offered at Trident Cochin, a 5-star property on Willingdon Island. The staff was extremely professional, very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good. The pool was great to cool down after a day of sightseeing under the boiling sun! We also recommend the restaurant: the fish/seafood grill is very good. They arranged a small Holi celebration, which was a lovely surprise

Casino Hotel is 6 km from Ernakulam and a 10 minute ferry ride to Fort Cochin and Mattancherry. It offers an outdoor pool, 4 dining options and in-house Ayurvedic massage services. It is a very peaceful hotel in the middle of the nature,with a huge garden, where lots of tropical birds build their nest. The rooms are really comfortable too.

I was a very pleasant stay. Nice and courteous staff. Evening complimentary tea / coffee with snacks, complimentary cruise in backwaters and small cultural dance is an icing on the cake.
