A quaint townhouse .. the staff were just out of this world . Considerate and anticipating every detail. Service at this level - and I travel every second month in India - is hard to find and at the cost , amazing value . The dinner / bfast option is highly recommended as the food was amazing also .

Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach. Location, service, ambiance and food were all top notch. Especially the service from staff across restaurant, housekeeping and front desk.

We stayed here for 7 nights and we can a comfortable stay. The room was clean and very big. The staff where really helpful and they even arranged our collection from Chennai airport too. The hotel was well located and walking distance from Rock beach and right in the heart of White town. There are so many places to eat close by or by taxi. They also had a roof top breakfast area too and breakfast was nice too. Thanks to Lenin (hotel manager) and his staff we had a great stay here. Traveled from France.

Attractively situated in Puducherry, Hotel Villa Des Gouverneurs features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. The location of the hotel is just perfect! In the middle of White Town, a 2 minute walk from the Aurobindo Ashram, a few minutes walk from all the tourist spots as well as good French restaurants. The staff is exceptionally good and helpful. They are always there for all your needs even in the middle of the night. Gopinath and the girls were there to attend to all our questions and they went out of their way to help us out. The property is very well maintained, clean and has a colonial appeal. If I come back to Pondicherry, I will definitely stay here again.
