We liked the spacious ground floor room, very clean. Varied menu, good quality ingredients to make delicious meals. Attentive staff always ready to help. Despite being so close to the airport, it wasn't so noisy as we thought it might be.

Set in the Borgo Panigale district, Villa Aretusi once belonged to Cesare Aretusi, late-Renaissance painter from Bologna. The city centre and Guglielmo Marconi Airport are 10 minutes' drive away. You would never know this was not in the country. Beautiful but very old place that belonged to a painter 400 years ago. Expect old and you are ok! Restaurant was amazing and they had 2 to choose from. Staff was great! Prettiest bird song we’ve ever heard.

Hotel La Pioppa offers comfortable accommodation with free WiFi. The hotel is set on the historical Via Emilia, by the Bologna-Borgo Panigale motorway exit (A1). Very good breakfast, enought clean towels, clean bathroom, hot water, bequemte beds. Room was warm, wi-fi was great.

Just a 5-minute drive from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport, Hotel Bologna Airport is also 500 metres from the Bologna Borgo Panigale exit of the A14 motorway. I stay in many places all over the world and at different price points. This is probably the best run hotel I’ve ever been to. Bravo to its staff and management!
