Near Bologna's main railway station, this central 4-star hotel offers easy access to public transport, friendly service, clean rooms, and a free buffet breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom big enough, the windows very good quality, sheltering us from the noise of the street.

Hotel San Giorgio is a 5-minute walk from the University and Bologna Centrale Train Station. It offers free Wi-Fi and soundproofed, functional rooms with wrought-iron bed. The hotel has very good staff. Mr Santino and Mr Leo at the front office we're excellent, very helpful and concerned when a friend had a health issue. We got a full breakfast on 2 days and a limited one in the third - all complimentary.

The gentleman at the front desk was a genuinely polite, pleasant person and kind enough to offer me a free room upgrade. The breakfast was good and the location was quite good (10 minute walk from Bologna Centrale train station, 20 minutes from Piazza Maggiore and opposite the station for buses that go to provincial towns of Emilia Romagna)

Situated right in the heart of Bologna, 250 metres from Via Indipendenza, La finestra sul canale features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. Very nicely appointed, great location and proximity to overnight parking. Very nice linen on the bed and very comfortable. Bathroom was very modern and tasteful.
