Located in an elegant building, Hotel Barocco overlooks Piazza Barberini square and its iconic fountain, made by Rome’s baroque master, Bernini. Rooms offer free Wi-Fi and antique furnishings. The location is great. I was with my young children and had a stroller and was able to navigate the area just fine. When we didn’t walk, we took cabs/Ubers and it was fine. There are lots of places to eat nearby, and our favorite gelato spot is within walking distance. The staff was incredibly kind. When we arrived, our driver said he only accepted cash (even though cash/card is listed as a payment method). I didn’t have cash and was able to coordinate with the staff to take care of the payment. The housekeeping team was quite pleasant. There is at least one who speaks fluent English, and she was the absolute sweetest. I would definitely stay here again with my family or as a solo traveler.

Just 50 metres from Barberini Metro, Casa I Cappuccini is a restored Monastery offering rooms with free WiFi. Set on popular Via Veneto street, the property is 550 metres from the Spanish Steps. Location is perfect for seeing the historical sites and piazzas, we walked to all off them. Very quiet street and comfortable beds made for great sleeping. The people there are so nice and pleasant!

Set 450 metres from the Spanish Steps, Hotel Modigliani features a private courtyard, a bar, and free WiFi throughout. Barberini Metro and square are 2 minutes' walk away. Thanks to staff. They were really lovely and helpful.
